Abstract: PURPOSE: A femto cell base-station apparatus and a self-configuring method thereof are provided to detect a neighbor macro cell and a femto cell environment without the control of an external control device or a macro cell base station. CONSTITUTION: A preamble extraction unit(420) extracts a first macro cell preamble from the signals of a femto cell and an adjacent macro cell, and a power allocation unit(430) sets the transmission power through the first macro cell preamble. A preamble selection unit(440) selects a second femto cell preamble from the first macro preamble. A header generating unit(550) generates a header of a femto cell control signal, and a resource allocation unit(560) allocates the resources for the transmission of the data from the femto cell.

Abstract: A method for relaying data in a wireless communication system is provided to apply a repeat function for a MAP and broadcast information that every user in a cell can recognize dynamic broadcast information and the MAP. An RS(Relay Station) receives a downlink frame from a BS(Base Station). The RS checks the received frame and confirms signal length information to be repeated. In this case, the RS confirms the MAP length information contained in the FCH(Frame Control Head) of the received frame. Then the RS repeats a section corresponding to the signal length information. Abstract: A method for selecting an RS(Relay Station) in a mobile communication system is provided to measure the signal quality of a signal transmitted from a UE(User Equipment) for an uplink slot time and select the RS on the basis of signal quality information included into an SS-SIG-REP message, thereby selecting the RS capable of providing the optimal service to each user out of plural RSs. A method for selecting a RS in a mobile communication system comprises the following steps of: performing network initialization when a UE enter a network initially(S100); transmitting a UL-MAP(Uplink-MAP) to the UE(S110); analyzing the UL-MAP allocated to the UE from a BS(Base Station) to recognize an uplink slot time(S120); measuring the signal quality of a signal transmitted from the UE for the uplink slot time and transmitting an SS-SIG-REP(Subscriber Station-Signal-Report) message including information about the measure signal quality to an upper RS collectively(S130); receiving the SS-SIG-REP message in the BS(S140); and selecting the RS for transceiving signals with the UE on the basis of the generated SS-SIG-REP message(S150).

Abstract: A method for reporting channel quality information in a wireless communication system is provided to save resources by transmitting MS(Mobile Station) information between an RS(Relay Station) which measures uplink signals of the MS and a BS(Base Station) which manages the MS information, without any additional control procedure. A BS(400) transmits a measurement request message to an RS(410) in order to direct the RS to measure uplink signals of a specific MS(420)(S450). Abstract: A method for relaying CDMA code information in a relay environment and a system thereof are provided to transmit time and power information to a BS(Base Station) through an RS(Relay Station) CDMA code so that the BS can create an RNG-RSP message. An MS(Mobile Station)(120) selects and transmits a CDMA code(C1) corresponding to one among an initial access ranging function, a handoff ranging function, a bandwidth request function, and a periodic ranging function. Receiving the CDMA code, an RS(110) adds its own relay code offset to the CDMA code, creates an RS CDMA code(R1), and transmits the RS CDMA code to a BS(100). The BS receives the RS CDMA code, subtracts the relay code offset of the RS from the RS CDMA code, and recognizes the CDMA code transmitted from the MS.
