Abstract: PURPOSE: An apparatus for providing underground facilities information using augmented reality and a method thereof are provided to efficiently manage facilities by providing facilities information after correcting the information through an augmented reality method. CONSTITUTION: An on-the-spot information analyzer(310) identifies field establishment by analyzing the field information. A facilities information searcher(320) searches the facilities information corresponding to the field information. A facilities information mapping unit(330) maps the searched facilities information to the field establishment. The facilities information mapping unit corrects the searched facilities information and creates the corrected facilities information. An augmented reality provider(340) created the augmented reality information by combining the corrected facilities information with the field information.

Abstract: PURPOSE: A building texture generation apparatus and method are provided to create a building texture from digital images photographed through a digital camera or a camcorder. CONSTITUTION: An image processing unit(100) detects meta data from one or more images. The image processing unit creates image topology with the meta data. A texture processing unit(200) creates a virtual photographing environment. The texture processing unit creates the building identifier list of a building model. The texture processing unit performs the detection and grouping of images including each building. The texture processing unit performs the clipping of the texture of a building included within the grouped images.

Abstract: PURPOSE: An apparatus and method for integrated management of spatial/geographic contents are provided to collectively manage various kinds of contents by extracting spatial information from the contents including spatial meaning. CONSTITUTION: A storage unit(120) classifies plural kinds of spatial contents according to content format. The storage unit stores not only the classified spatial contents but also the identifiers of the spatial contents and representative spatial information. An extractor(160) extracts the representative information from inputted searching information and the spatial contents. A manager(180) searches from the storage unit the identifier corresponding to the extracted representative spatial information. The manager extracts from the storage unit the spatial contents corresponding to the detected identifier.
