본발명은케이블방송망에서광 네트워크기반으로아날로그의상향알에프신호를디지털신호로변환하여 IP 패킷으로전송하는기술적사상에관한것으로서, 상향알에프신호전송장치는상향알에프신호를검출하는검출부, 및상기검출된상향알에프신호를디지털화하고, 아이피패킷을통해상기디지털화된알에프신호를헤드엔드로전송하는전송부를포함할수 있다.

본 발명은 사용자 단말 및 그의 인터페이스 제공 방법에 관한 것으로 본 발명에 따른 사용자 단말은, 사용자 단말 또는 상기 사용자 단말의 사용자와, 다른 장치 또는 다른 사용자 간의 상호 인터랙션을 모니터링하여 소셜 관계를 구축하고 상호 인터랙션 정보를 각 소셜 관계에 대응하여 저장하도록 하는 모니터부, 상기 소셜 관계에 대응하여 저장된 정보에 근거하여 사용자에 의해 요청된 서비스를 제공하는 적어도 하나의 어플리케이션을 동적으로 배치한 사용자 인터페이스를 제공하도록 하는 인터페이스부, 및 상기 사용자 인터페이스를 통해 선택된 항목에 대응하여 발생된 신호에 따라 어플리케이션을 구동하는 어플리케이션 구동부를 포함한다.

Disclosed are a method and an apparatus for unifying smart devices, and more specifically, to a method and an apparatus for unifying resources of smart devices. A smart device disclosed herein comprises: a storage unit which stores identification information of a counterpart smart device; a sensing unit which senses approach of the counterpart device; a control unit which determines whether the counterpart device sensed by the sensing unit corresponds to the identification information stored in the storage unit; and a unification processing unit which performs unification of resources of the counterpart device if the control unit determines that the counterpart device is the corresponding counterpart device.

Provided are an apparatus and a method for sharing data, which facilitate data sharing among short-distance/middle-distance/long-distance portable terminals by minimizing significant intervention of users. The apparatus comprises: a social relationship management unit which manages information on social network groups formed by a user while the user uses social network services; a device recognition and authentication unit which verifies identity of a portable terminal of a counterpart user based on device information from the portable terminal attempting to access and the information on social network groups and allocates a data communication channel for exchanging data; a shared data setting unit which sets data to be shared with the portable terminal of the counterpart user, to which the data communication channel is formed; and a shared data transmission unit which transmits the data to be shared to the portable terminal of the counterpart user.

The present invention relates to a method for power estimation using a software agent and an apparatus for the same, the method comprising the steps of: measuring an initial power amount of each of a plurality of servers; calculating a power consumption rate by components of each of the servers; calculating a power consumption amount of each of the servers, based on the initial power amount measured for each server, the power consumption rate calculated for each component, and performance metrics for each component; modeling a formula model that aggregates the calculated power consumption amounts to calculate the total power consumption amount of the servers; and monitoring the calculated total power consumption amount and the performance metrics to estimate a change in the power. PURPOSE: A method for transmitting data from a DVB-C3 transmitter at a constant transmission rate and an apparatus thereof are provided to output data slices at a constant rate by monitoring data slice First In First Outs (FIFOs) by a data slice generator regardless of the number and the rate of FEC frames inputted from PLP. CONSTITUTION: An input First In First Out (FIFO) controller (320) orders to output at least one input FIFO based on the monitoring result of input FIFOs. A data slice FIFO (330) outputs FEC frames which is inputted from at least one input FIFO heretofore and formed into a data slice of a certain size. PURPOSE: A method for predicting the access delay time considering the piggyback band request in the DOCSIS(Data Over Cable Service Interface Specification) cable network is provided to reduce the band request collision probability by reducing the number of cable modems which is participating for the band request in the competition process. CONSTITUTION: A variable is set based on the initial network status(401). By using the operated CMTS(Cable Modem Termination System), the changed contents of a network is checked(403). An access delay time is forecasted in case the change is generated in the network in the result of the changed contents(404,405). The forecasted access delay time is the average of the delay time created by transmitting the packet from a CM(Cable Modem) to a CMTS.

PURPOSE: An apparatus for allocating and releasing of an image device in a virtualization system and a method thereof are provided to construct a computing environment by configuring a virtual computing environment. CONSTITUTION: A communication module(110) performs communication with an image device and transceives allocation or cancellation information of the image device. A device managing module(120) manages the allocation and the termination of the image device coping with VM(Virtual Machine)s. An image process manage module(130) creates or removes an image process module(140) coping with a corresponding image device by the command of the device managing module. The image process manage module transmits the connection information of the image processing module to the image device.
