Abstract:
The present invention relates to an apparatus and a method for avoiding signal interference between access points in an unlicensed band. The present invention provides an apparatus for avoiding interference between access points including an adjacent AP presence determination unit that determines whether or not a second access point adjacent to a first access point is present; an operation channel overlapping determination unit that determines whether or not operation channels of the first access point and the second access point overlap with each other when the second access point is determined to be present; a non-overlapping channel setting determination unit that determines whether or not non-overlapping operation channel setting is available when the operation channels of the first access point and the second access point are determined to overlap with each other; and a channel use control unit that controls the operation channel of the first access point to be shared with the second access point when the non-overlapping operation channel setting is determined to be unavailable. According to the present invention, an inter-OBSS interference problem can be addressed, and effective channel sharing becomes available while network-wide overhead is minimized through simple message exchange between the access points.

Abstract:
PURPOSE: A resource management system in a communication system and method thereof are provided to improve the usage efficiency of frequency resources by transmitting and receiving a negotiation announcement message. CONSTITUTION: A CM(Coexistence Manager)(120,130) respectively corresponds to plural systems. Plural CMs are existed. A first CM executes a negotiation procedure with neighbor CMs(Coexistence Managers) based on an etiquette mode, a round-robin mode, or a competition mode. The CMs are existed. A CDIS(Coexistence Discovery and Information Server)(110), the CM, and CE(Coexistence Enabler)(150,170) respectively transmit and receive messages.
Abstract:
PURPOSE: A resource management system and a method thereof are provided to manage a frequency resource in a resource management system in order to use usable frequency band. CONSTITUTION: If a frequency band in a first frequency band is searched, CM(Coexistence Manager)s(120,130) manage a plurality of systems in the usable frequency band. A CE(Coexistence Enabler) transmits and receives CM information. A CDIS(Coexistence Discovery and Information Server)(110) supports the control of the CM.
Abstract:
PURPOSE: A resource management system and a method thereof in a communication system are provided to efficiently use frequency band in a plurality of systems by share of usable frequency band. CONSTITUTION: System information is transmitted and received between a CE(Coexistence Enabler)(140) and a DIS(Coexistence Discovery and Information Server)(110). A plurality of systems uses a usable frequency band through coexistence and frequency share in a first frequency band.
Abstract:
PURPOSE: A resource management system in a communication system and a method thereof are provided to use available frequency in the frequency bandwidth which is being used, thereby enhancing the efficiency in using the limited frequency resources. CONSTITUTION: When an available frequency bandwidth of systems in a first frequency bandwidth is searched, a CM(Coexistence Manager)(120,130) manages a plurality of systems for coexistence and frequency sharing. A CE(Coexistence Enabler)(150,170) transceives information of the systems and the CM. A CDIS(Coexistence Discovery and Information Server)(110) supports the control of the CM for the systems.
Abstract:
PURPOSE: A frequency allocating method for a frequency sharing system is provided to recognize available channel information in a frequency sharing system or a frequency allocation device by classifying each sub frequency resource. CONSTITUTION: If available sub frequency resources do not exist, an apparatus determines the existence of conditional available sub frequency resources(520, 530). If the conditional available sub frequency resource exists, the apparatus decides whether the regulation is satisfied(540). If so, the apparatus allocates conditional available sub frequency resources to a frequency sharing system(541). The apparatus determines the existence of the allocated sub frequency resource using RAT(Radio Access Technology)(550).
