    Abstract: Improved configured grants (CGs) may include the designation of a footprint corresponding to uplink transmission of a UE, with the footprint at least partially defined by the occupied transmission time, occupied transmission frequency, and transmission power. The footprint may be adjustable and/or selectable by the UE according to the current traffic needs of the UE and within limits set for the footprint via prior signaling from the base station to the UE. The actual footprint parameters/values for the UE's uplink data transmissions may be received by the base station as part of CG uplink control information (CG-UCI) received from the UE. The base station may receive the CG-UCI over resources configured according to additional parameter values transmitted to the UE via the prior signaling from the base station. The base station may further receive uplink data on resources configured according to the actual footprint values.

    Abstract: A base station belonging to a first cell group (CG) that includes a transceiver configured to connect to a user equipment (UE) and a processor configured to transmit a command to the UE to perform a BWP switch, and monitor a physical uplink control channel (PUCCH) for an acknowledgement or a negative acknowledgement (ACK/NACK) for a predetermined period of time, wherein the predetermined period of time is the sum of a standard-defined period of time between transmission of a radio resource control (RRC) command and receipt of the ACK/NACK, a time to process an RRC command, and a time to perform a BWP switch.

    Abstract: A user equipment (UE), or other network component can operate to configure different sets of resources for an uplink (UL) physical channel for an uplink (UL) -to-downlink (DL) channel occupancy time (COT) sharing to coexist with another radio access technology (RAT). An energy detection (ED) threshold can be selected from the different sets of resource configurations for an UL transmission based on one or more conditions. A gap can be configured between a physical random access control channel (PRACH) transmission and a PUSCH transmission based on one of at least a first value associated with a numerology between the PRACH and the PUSCH and a second value greater than the first value. The UL transmission can be provided based on the ED threshold or the configured conditional gap via the UL physical channel.

    Abstract: Various techniques are presented to improve phase tracking reference signal (PTRS) performance with respect to very high frequency communications. According to some embodiments, increased power boosting may be applied to improve PTRS performance, while still keeping power spectral density (PSD) within ETSI Broadband Radio Access Networks (BRAN) limits. In some cases, the power boosting may be semi-static and/or dynamic. In other embodiments, the improved performance may be achieved by dynamically changing time and/or frequency density of the PTRS. In other embodiments, a multi-port configuration may be used for the downlink PTRS. In other embodiments, one or more PTRS configurations may be determined per SCS and/or frequency band, e.g., based on traffic type, channel priority, parameters signaled in the slot format indication (SFI), etc. In other embodiments, common phase error (CPE) estimates may be obtained for those OFDM symbols without PTRS by interpolating the available PTRS estimates in the time domain.
