    Abstract: Apparatuses, systems, and methods to indicate power transmission capability for a wireless device. A wireless device may connect to a base station (BS). The wireless device may transmit information regarding transmit power capability to the BS. The wireless device may indicate support for full power transmit capability for a subset of TPMIs for which it provides full power transmit capability, e.g., in a bitmap. This subset of TPMIs may be less than all of the available TPMIs (i.e., it may be a strict subset of the available TPMIs). Full power transmission capability of these indicated TPMIs may be provided via antenna switching and/or antenna virtualization. The wireless device may perform uplink transmission to the BS according to the transmit power capability indicated in the information. For example, the UE may transmit data using the antenna virtualization related to the subset of the TPMIs.

    Abstract: A device may wirelessly communicate with a number of different cells used in a carrier aggregation. The device may monitor physical downlink control channels (PDCCHs) on the different cells, dynamically switching between a dormant monitoring state (DS) and an active monitoring state (AS). In the DS, the UE may not monitor any PDCCH candidates on the active secondary SCells corresponding to the DS, or it may monitor PDCCH candidates in the search space (SS) set with the largest monitoring periodicity among the multiple SS sets on the active bandwidth part (BWP). In the AS, the UE may monitor a set of PDCCH candidates in physical resources configured by higher layers on the BWPs. Switching from one monitoring state to another may be facilitated through the use of a new downlink control information (DCI) format without data scheduling, a modified existing DCI format with data scheduling, and/or use of a DS timer.

    Abstract: Embodiments are presented herein of apparatuses, systems, and methods for a vehicle-to-everything (V2X) capable wireless device configured to perform sidelink cellular communications. The wireless device performs sidelink communications using a two-stage sidelink control information (SCI) protocol including Stage 1 SCI messaging carried on a physical sidelink control channel (PSCCH), and Stage 2 SCI messaging carried on a physical sidelink shared channel (PSSCH). The SCI messaging may be encoded using polar codes. Channel interleaving is utilized on the SCI to interleave the SCI between two or more layers of a MIMO transmission system. Scrambling for Stage 2 SCI messaging is performed based on the result of a cyclic redundancy check (CRC) performed on Stage 1 SCI messaging. Collisions between sidelink HARQ feedback to be transmitted to a base station and other transmissions is avoided based on a priority analysis of the sidelink HARQ feedback.

    Abstract: To reduce the beam reporting latency, a base station may include a sounding reference signal (SRS) indication to a wireless communication device (UE) as part of the transmission configuration information (TCI) transmitted to the UE, allowing the UE to receive a corresponding downlink signal using the same beam (or with the same beam) the UE used to transmit (or with which the UE transmitted) the SRS indicated in the TCI. The SRS may be one of multiple SRSs previously transmitted by the UE. The UE may transmit the multiple SRSs periodically and/or according to semi-persistent scheduling, or it may transmit them aperiodically. Therefore, the UE does not need to report the beam quality, and the base station may perform the necessary beam measurement (s) instead. Various parameters and conditions may be defined for the UE to support SRS-based TCI.

    Abstract: Apparatuses, systems, and methods for a user equipment device (UE) to perform methods for triggering a change in beam configuration based on UL beam conditions. The UE may detect an unsafe UL beam condition for an UL beam based, at least in part, on an MPE level being exceeded by the UL beam. In response to the detection, remedial actions that to alleviate the unsafe UL beam condition may be performed. The remedial actions may prioritize UL beam quality over DL beam quality and may include reducing a transmit power of the UL beam based on an MPR, triggering an intra-panel antenna switch to a candidate UL beam that satisfies one or more conditions for intra-panel beam switching, triggering an inter-panel antenna switch to a candidate UL beam that satisfies one or more conditions for intra-panel beam switching, and/or signaling a beam failure to a network serving the UE.
