Abstract:
A resin foam composite with at least one layer of open-cell aminoplast resin foam MF and a polyurethane foam PU and at least one of the layers contains a formaldehyde scavenger, particularly a resin foam composite with a core of an open-cell melamine-formaldehyde resin foam and a casing on all sides of a polyurethane foam PU containing the formaldehyde scavenger.
Abstract:
The invention relates to the use of molded bodies as dust-binding means in vacuum cleaners. The molded bodies according to the invention have length/width/height dimensions ranging from 1 mm to 5 cm and are produced by treating (a) an open-cell foam material having a density ranging from 5 to 500 kg/m3 and a mean pore diameter ranging from 1 μm to 1 mm (b) with an aqueous formulation of at least one cationic polymer, (c) and a shaping step.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a multi-layered foamed composite element having a total thickness d, comprising at least three layers of open-celled foam. At least one of the inner layers comprises recesses and both external layers do not have recesses. The composite element is characterised in that i) the volume of the recesses is 20 to 70 vol % in the internal layer comprising the recesses, and ii) the thickness of the layer comprising the recesses is 20 to 80% of the total thickness d.
Abstract:
Disclosed is a layered composite system comprising one or several layers A) made of an open-cell foam based on an aminoplast, and one or several layers B) made of nonwoven fabric or fibrous tissue. Layer B contains melamine fibers. Also disclosed are production methods and the use of the inventive layered composite system as a cleaning sponge or protective support.
