PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inkjet recording method wherein the change of a dot diameter when multiple order colors are formed is suppressed. SOLUTION: The inkjet recording method uses at least two kinds of ink compositions which contain a coloring material, a resin particle and water, and have different contents of the resin particles. The inkjet recording method includes an image recording process for recording images in such a manner that the ink compositions are imparted by the inkjet method in order from the ink composition having a low content of the resin particles on a recording medium containing a cohering agent which can cohere the ink compositions. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink composition having good hue and including a white pigment curable with high sensitivity by irradiation with active rays, an inkjet recording method using the same and a printed matter. SOLUTION: The ink composition comprises (A) the white pigment, (B) a coloring matter for a hue adjustment, (C) a polymerizable compound and (D) a polymerization initiator, in which the ratio in weight of (B) the coloring matter for the hue adjustment against the weight of (A) the white pigment is ≥0.0001 and ≤0.1. The inkjet recording method includes a step of discharging the ink composition on the medium to be recorded and curing the ink composition by irradiation the discharged ink composition with active rays.
