A process for preparation of a reactive single component granulate, especially a single component coating- and/or adhesive granulate by the steps: (a) preparation of a mixture containing at least one isocyanate reactive starting polymer and at least one di- and/or polyisocyanate, preferably by melting the mixture components and/or warming to a viscous state or a state where flow is possible; (b) preparation of the granulate from the mixture is new.
