Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cereal grain transporter for combine harvesters so designed as to vertically convey a cereal grain stored in a holding tank via a screw type vertical conveyor, to subsequently transport it by a screw type horizontal conveyor allowed to move upward and downward and turn around and to discharge the grain from a downwardly opened outlet port at the tip end of the horizontal conveyor, and so operated as to make no erroneous detection irrespective of the attitude of the horizontal conveyor and to surely detect the grain accumulation only at the outlet port for proper treatment. SOLUTION: This transporter is formed by mounting a detector 24 designed to sense a pressure of a cereal grain accumulated inside an outlet port 9 on the lateral section of the inner section of the outlet port 9 so as to prevent the discharge grain from affecting the detector 24. When the detector 24 is mounted on the lateral section disposed at the upstream position relative to the rotational direction of the screw of the horizontal conveyor 8, the grain is more certainly prevented from directly contacting with the sensor 24 for bringing a larger advantage of avoiding any erroneous detection.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To permit the gear shift operation of a continuously variable transmission with a running gear shift structure for a working vehicle through a rapid operation of its gearshift tool. while ensuring an advantage of dispensing with a friction holding mechanism dedicated for holding the continuously variable transmission in its arbitrary gear-shifted position. SOLUTION: A gearshift tool 26 is mechanically interlocked with a change gear section 20 of a continuously variable transmission 3, to which the power of an electric motor 23 is applied as its assist force. A control means is provided for supplying the electric motor 23 with an operation current on the basis of detection information from first detection means 27 and 28 when the gearshift tool 26 is manually operated to thereby apply the assist force in the operated direction. The control means also supplies the electric motor 23 with a holding current to prevent the reversion of the continuously variable transmission 3 to the lower gear side on the detection of the gearshift tool 26 not being manually operated, and controls the supplied level of the holding current according to speed changing states on the basis of the detection information from a second detection means 41 for detecting speed changing states.

CONSTITUTION:A control means H conducting a sorting control to regulate and actuate throughput capacity changing means M1, M2 so as to increase the throughput capacity of a sorter as the amount of a harvest to be sorted dropping from a threshing chamber A detected by a relevant means S5 increases and a vehicle speed control to operate a speed change gear 12 in order to maintain an engine load detected by relevant means S7, H within a target load range, performs a vehicle speed control in such a state as not to exceed a set upper limit speed stored as the maximum speed detected by a relevant means S6; when the amount of a harvest to be sorted exceeds an upper limit value of the throughput capacity of the sorter, the set upper limit speed is corrected to a set lower vehicle speed only when this correction does not come within a specified time lapse after an speed reduction due to the increase in engine load.

When the lengths of the carried grain straw detected with a straw length-detecting means S are shorter than the first set value and longer than the second set value, the nipping position-shifting mechanism is operated so that the grain straw-nipping position in the nipping and carrying device 8 is shifted toward the threshing chamber, and when the lengths of the carried grain straws are shorter than the second set value, the whole straw-feeding device is controlled so as to switched from the nipping and carrying state into the whole straw-feeding state.

CONSTITUTION:A grain culm transporting mechanism for combine harvester is constituted to hold the foot side of grain culm by a gripping conveyor 8 and to thresh the ear tip side of grain culm in a thresher 2. Apair of grain culm existence sensors S1 and S2 are set in the midst of a transporting passageway for the thresher 2 and a threshing depth adjusting mechanism M1 for regulating the threshing depth of reaped grain culm in the thresher 2 is installed so that the ear tip of grain culm is positioned between both the sensors S1 and S2. A whole culm throwing device capable of releasing holding at the foot side and changeable to a state for feeding the whole culm of reaped grain culm to the thresher 2 is installed. In a state in which the threshing depth adjusting mechanism M1 is adjusted to the deepest threshing side, when the grain culm existence sensors S1 and S2 detect absence of grain culm, the whole culm throwing device is controlled and converted from a holding and transporting state to a whole grain throwing state after the lapse of a given time of transportation of reaped grain culm from the set positions of the sensors S1 and S2 to the whole grain throwing device.
