Abstract:
In a method for signal transmission and reception of a home subscriber server (HSS) in a wireless communication system, according to an embodiment of the present invention, the method for signal transmission and reception of the HSS comprises the steps of: receiving a uniform resource locator (URL) from a mobility management entity (MME) which has received an attach request transmitted by a user equipment (UE); and determining whether it is appropriate for the MME to provide service to the UE on the basis of the URL, wherein the URL includes at least one piece of information on whether the MME belongs to a dedicated core network, or on the type of dedicated core network to which the MME belongs if the MME belongs to a dedicated core network.
Abstract:
One embodiment of the present specification provides a method for managing subscriber information to respond to a network failure in a home subscriber server (HSS). The method can comprise the steps of: receiving a packet data network (PDN) failure indication; updating subscriber information related to a PDN on the basis of the PDN failure indication; and transmitting a message that indicates the update of the subscriber information.
Abstract:
One embodiment of the present specification provides a method for supporting a power saving mode in a wireless device. The method can comprise the steps of: transmitting a request message including a first active time value to a network entity, if a PSM is necessary; and receiving a rejection message for the request message from the network entity. Here, the rejection message includes the reason for rejection, and can include a second active time value determined by considering the first active time value. The method can comprise the steps of terminating the transmission procedure of the request message after receiving the reject message, and entering a PSM state on the basis of the second active time value.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a method and an apparatus for determining a path switch in a wireless communication system. Specifically, the present invention relates to a method for determining a path switch of a first network entity, the method comprising the steps of: receiving bearer setup information including a bearer type regarding at least one bearer; transmitting a path switch request to a second network entity on the basis of the bearer setup information; receiving a path switch response corresponding to the path switch request from the second network entity; and determining a path switch depending on whether the path switch response indicates admission of a default bearer.
Abstract:
A disclosure of the present invention provides a method in which user equipment (UE) selects a network and performs traffic routing. The method may comprise the steps of: receiving first RAN (radio access network) supporting information; receiving second RAN supporting information; and applying the first RAN supporting information or the second RAN supporting information for selecting a network and routing traffic. Here, when the first RAN supporting information has been received by a Home PLMN, if the UE is registered in a visited PLMN, and if the second RAN supporting information is received by the visited PLMN, the second RAN supporting information may be used.
Abstract:
Disclosed herein are a method and apparatus for monitoring UE reachability in a wireless communication system. More specifically, a method for monitoring UE reachability in a wireless communication system may include receiving, by a Mobility Management Entity (MME), a monitoring request message for UE reachability including a maximum response time from a Home Subscriber Server (HSS), detecting, by the MME, the UE reachability if it is expected that paging is able to be transmitted to UE when extended Discontinuous Reception (DRX) is applied to the UE, and sending, by the MME, a UE reachability notification to a Service Capability Exposure Function (SCEF) before a next paging occasion of the UE, wherein the maximum response time may indicate a time during which the UE maintains a reachable state so that downlink data is reliably delivered to the UE, and wherein an occasion when the UE reachability notification is transmitted may be determined by taking into consideration the maximum response time.
Abstract:
One disclosure of the present specification provides a method by which a session management function (SMF) supports quality of service (QoS). The method can comprise the steps of: determining, on the basis of a QoS flow not being a guaranteed bit rate (GBR) QoS flow in a multi-access (MA) protocol data unit (PDU) session, that a QoS profile is transmitted to both a third generation partnership project (3GPP) access and a non-3GPP access; determining, on the basis of the QoS flow being the GBR QoS flow in the MA PDU session, that the QoS profile is transmitted to only one of the 3GPP access and the non-3GPP access; and transmitting the QoS profile on the basis of the determinations.
