Abstract: A pulsating device has a chamber for receiving liquid entering the device and gas that occupies an initial volume in the chamber. The liquid entering the chamber compresses the gas and decreases the volume occupied by the gas, thereby increasing the pressure in the chamber. A valve is provided to open above a first threshold pressure to begin a pulse of liquid. The valve closes below a second threshold pressure to end the pulse. The pulsating device has an outlet gate that permits liquid in the chamber to exit the chamber when the pressure in the chamber is greater than the pressure outside the chamber.

Abstract: Un dispositivo pulsante 10 tiene una cámara 18 para recibir líquido que entra al dispositivo 10 y gas 26 que ocupa un volumen inicial en la cámara 18. El líquido que entra a la cámara 18 comprime el gas 26 y disminuye el volumen que el gas 26 ocupa en la cámara 18 e incrementa la presión en la cámara 18. Una válvula 16 del dispositivo 10 se abre por arriba de una primera presión de umbral que inicia un pulso y luego se cierra por abajo de una segunda presión de umbral Pc para terminar el pulso. También el dispositivo 10 tiene una compuerta de salida 28 que permite que el líquido en la cámara 18 salga de la cámara 18 siempre y cuando la presión en la cámara 18 en la compuerta de salida 28 esté por arriba de cero.
