Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To restrain risks of cracking and breaking a backside substrate when a conductive pin is press-fitted into a through-hole on the backside substrate while thinning a protection panel by using a glass plate as a backside substrate. SOLUTION: In the protection panel with a touch input function in which a frontside substrate 6 forming a resistance film 6A at its backside and decorating a peripheral edge section 6E and the backside substrate 5 made of at least the glass plate forming a resistance film 5A at its front side and forming through-holes 5a, 5b for current conduction on a peripheral edge section are connected with each other so as to make the resistance films 5A, 6A face each other at a designated interval and current conduction connection between electrodes 5D, 6D of the resistance films 5A, 5B and an external terminal C is performed by making use of the through-holes 5a, 5b, a conductive adhesive 10 is poured into the through-holes 5a, 5b, and a protection member 12 is interposed between the conductive pins 11 inserted into the through-holes 5a, 5b where the conductive adhesive 10 is already poured and internal walls of the through-holes 5a, 5b.
