Abstract: An illuminated keyboard includes a key structure, a sensor board, a light source, a light guide plate, an adhesive layer, and a bottom plate. The sensor board includes a key wiring region for sensing a depressing action of the key structure and thereby generates a key signal. The light source is used for emitting a light beam to the light guide plate. The sensor board is made of a light-transmissible material. The sensor board is disposed over the light guide plate. At least one edge region of the sensor board is coated with a light-shading material or mixed with a light-shading material. Moreover, the at least one edge region of the sensor board is bent to enclose at least one edge of the light guide plate in order to prevent lateral light leakage of the illuminated keyboard.

Abstract: An illuminated keyboard includes a key structure and a backlight membrane switch board. The backlight membrane switch board includes a light source, a light guide plate, a wiring plate, and a partition plate. The light guide plate includes a first circuit layer. The wiring plate includes a second circuit layer and a light source circuit layer. The electrical connection between the first circuit layer and the second circuit layer results in a key signal. The light source circuit layer is used for driving the light source. Since the first circuit layer is disposed on the light guide plate, less amount of substrates is required and the illuminated keyboard is slim. Moreover, since the second circuit layer and the light source circuit layer have a shared pin, the ease of assembling the backlight membrane switch board is enhanced.

Abstract: A luminous keyboard includes a lateral-emitting type illumination element, a light guide panel, a sensing circuit pattern, a light-transmissible substrate, a supporting plate, and plural keys. When one of the keys is moved toward the sensing circuit pattern, the sensing circuit pattern generates a corresponding non-contact key signal. The lateral-emitting type illumination element is used for providing a light beam to the light guide panel. Consequently, the light beam can be diffused to the whole light guide panel. The light guide panel has plural light-guiding dots for collecting and scattering the light beam. The light-transmissible substrate is arranged between the light guide panel and the plural keys, and has plural light diffusion structures corresponding to the plural keys. The light beam scattered upwardly by each light-guiding dot is sequentially transmitted through the corresponding light diffusion structure and the supporting plate and directed to the corresponding key.

Abstract: A luminous keyboard includes a light-emitting element, a proximity sensor, a membrane wiring board, and plural keys. The plural keys are aligned with the plural membrane switches for triggering the plural membrane switches. The light-emitting element is used for providing a light beam to the luminous keyboard. The membrane wiring board has a receiving part for accommodating a signal processing unit of the proximity sensor. In accordance with the present invention, a sensing unit and the signal processing unit of the proximity sensor are used for sensing whether an object is locate near the illuminated keyboard or not. Since the signal processing unit of the proximity sensor is accommodated within the receiving part, it is not necessary to provide an additional accommodation space for accommodating the proximity sensor. Consequently, the luminous keyboard can meet the requirements of slimness and miniaturization.

Abstract: A luminous keyboard device includes plural keys, a light-emitting element, and a light guide plate. By the light guide plate, a light beam emitted by the light-emitting element is guided to the plural keys. The light guide plate includes plural elongated slots and a light-absorbing part. The plural elongated slots are located near a lateral edge of the light guide plate. After the light beam transferred within the light guide plate is transmitted through the elongated slots and departed from the light guide plate, the fraction of the light beam introduced into the lateral edge of the light guide plate is reduced. The light-absorbing part is located at the lateral edge of the light guide plate for absorbing the portion of the light beam which is introduced into the lateral edge of the light guide plate.
