Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices are described for communications via a mesh network. To join an existing mesh network, a wireless communication device may identify a member device from a plurality of member devices of an existing mesh network. The wireless communication device may communicate with the identified member device to participate in a single authentication procedure. Upon successfully completing the single authentication procedure, the wireless communication device may join the existing mesh network without needing any additional authentication procedures with another member device of the plurality of member devices to join the existing mesh network. This approach may be used for any mesh network, such as a social Wi-Fi mesh network.

Abstract: Example methods, apparatuses, and computer-readable mediums for wireless communication are provided. In one example, an apparatus may be configured to determine a first interval between a first page transmission time and a second page transmission time. A third page transmission time may exist between the first page transmission time and the second page transmission time. The apparatus may be configured to enter a first state during which the first device is monitoring for a page transmission from a second device based on the first interval for a first state time period. The apparatus may be configured to enter, from the first state in response to a trigger event, a second state during which the first device is disabled from monitoring for a page transmission from the second device.

Abstract: Un procedimiento para comunicaciones inalámbricas mediante un aparato, que comprende: generar (402) una o más primeras tramas que, conjuntamente, incluyen un conjunto de parámetros que definen, al menos, una planificación de tiempo de activación objetivo, TWT, de difusión y una asignación de uno o más nodos inalámbricos a uno o más grupos de TWT que serán servidos en diferentes períodos de servicio, SP, de TWT asociados a la al menos una planificación de TWT de difusión, en el que la generación comprende asignar el uno o más nodos inalámbricos al uno o más grupos de TWT en base a una o más planificaciones de activación preferidas del uno o más nodos inalámbricos, en el que cada planificación de activación indica la disponibilidad de un nodo correspondiente de los nodos inalámbricos; y emitir (404), a través de una primera interfaz, la una o más primeras tramas para su transmisión; y caracterizado por que el procedimiento comprende además: obtener, a través de una segunda interfaz, al menos una segunda trama que indica la planificación de activación preferida de al menos un nodo de los uno o más nodos inalámbricos; o que comprende además: obtener, a través de una segunda interfaz, al menos una segunda trama que indica una solicitud de al menos un nodo de los uno o más nodos inalámbricos para cambiar al menos uno de entre la asignación o un tiempo de activación preferido; y asignar o reasignar al menos un nodo de los uno o más nodos inalámbricos a un grupo de TWT en base a la solicitud; o que comprende además: obtener, a través de una segunda interfaz, al menos una segunda trama que comprende una indicación de si un nodo inalámbrico prefiere o no seleccionar su propio grupo de TWT; y asignar ese nodo inalámbrico a un grupo de TWT en base a, al menos en parte, la indicación de si ese nodo inalámbrico prefiere o no seleccionar su propio grupo de TWT; o que comprende además: generar, al menos, una segunda trama que comprende una indicación de, para cada período de servicio de TWT de difusión, uno o más nodos inalámbricos de un grupo de TWT que serán servidos; emitir la al menos una segunda trama para su transmisión a través de la primera interfaz; obtener, a través de una segunda interfaz, al menos una tercera trama de un nodo del uno o más nodos inalámbricos que serán servidos, en respuesta a la al menos una segunda trama; y servir los nodos inalámbricos desde los cuales el aparato recibe terceras tramas.
