Abstract: Certain aspects of the present disclosure provide apparatus, methods, processing systems, and computer readable mediums for enhancing reliability of voice over new radio (VONR) in dual connectivity (DC) by duplicating quality of service (QoS) flow using motion metrics measured at the user equipment (UE). At a high level, the UE may detect a motion metric, such as rotation or displacement, and determine whether the detected motion metric exceeds a threshold. When the motion metric exceeds the threshold, the UE requests the network to duplicate the QoS flow in response to the determination.

    申请号:PCT/CN2020/103246

    申请日:2020-07-21

Abstract: This disclosure provides systems, devices, apparatus and methods, including computer programs encoded on storage media, for reducing gamut mapping luminance loss. A gain value of at least one primary color may be reduced in a native color gamut based on an analog technique (e.g., using a DDIC in a display panel) to provide a reduced color gamut that is smaller than the native color gamut. The reduced color gamut may have a same luminance as the native color gamut. One or more colors included in the native color gamut may be mapped via a digital technique (e.g., using a DPU or other processor) to the reduced color gamut. The mapping may be configured to provide a threshold level of color accuracy in the reduced color gamut.

Abstract: Aspects of the present disclosure relate to wireless communications, and more particularly, to network slicing enhancements and configuring a user equipment for network slice selection. An example method of the techniques described herein generally includes obtaining a network slice selection policy (NSSP) list associated with an application on the UE, comparing the NSSP list with a single network slice selection assistance information (S-NSSAI) list associated with a network, and determining, based on the comparison, to use the NSSP list to connect to a network slicing instance of the network, and to configure the UE with the NSSP list.

    MANAGING BEAMFORMING FOR DEVICE-TO-DEVICE COMMUNICATIONS

    申请号:PCT/CN2020/092982

    申请日:2020-05-28

Abstract: Embodiments include systems and methods for managing beamforming for device-to-device communications. A processor of a wireless device may determine movement information of the wireless device based on data from one or more movement sensors, and perform beamforming operations with a second wireless device based on the movement information. The wireless device may send the movement information to the second wireless device, and negotiate a beam parameter with the second wireless device based on the movement information. In some embodiments, the wireless device may perform the beamforming operations with the second wireless device in response to determining that the movement information of the wireless device exceeds the movement threshold. The wireless device may also receive movement information from the second wireless device, and perform beamforming operations with the second wireless device based at least in part on the movement information received from the second wireless device.

OPTIMIZED METHOD OF PAGE ZEROING IN MEMORY POOL

    申请号:PCT/CN2020/077085

    申请日:2020-02-28

Abstract: Systems, devices, apparatus and methods are provided, which include computer programs encoded on storage media, for zeroing pages of a memory pool. The memory pool is allocated into a first sub-pool of zeroed pages (604) and a second sub-pool of non-zeroed pages (608). A kernel thread zeroes data in a non-zeroed page from the second sub-pool of non-zeroed pages (608) to generate a zeroed page. The zeroed page is provided to the first sub-pool of zeroed pages (604) for allocation to an application. The kernel thread may be executed asynchronously from the application thread.

DELAYING DSI CLOCK CHANGE BASED ON FRAME UPDATE TO PROVIDE SMOOTHER USER INTERFACE EXPERIENCE

    公开(公告)日:2021-08-26

    申请号:PCT/CN2020/076194

    申请日:2020-02-21

Abstract: This disclosure provides systems, devices, apparatus and methods, including computer programs encoded on storage media, for delaying a DSI clock change until there is no new frame update, so that a smoother user interface may be perceived. With more specificity, an apparatus may receive a request to change a speed of a clock for displaying a frame. After receiving the request, the apparatus may determine whether two consecutive frames (e.g., a current frame and a prior frame) have a different layer configuration. If so, the request to change the speed of the clock may be delayed until a new set of two consecutive frames are identified with a same layer configuration or until the delay period reaches a timeout limit.
