    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communication are described. A user equipment (UE) may separately encode lower priority uplink control information (UCI) and higher priority UCI, and multiplex the encoded lower priority UCI and the encoded higher priority UCI on the same physical uplink channel (e.g., a physical uplink control channel (PUCCH)). The UE may be configured with multiple coding rates, which the UE may select from based on a payload size associated with each of the lower priority UCI and the higher priority UCI. Alternatively, the UE may be configured with a separate set of coding rates for the lower priority UCI and a separate set of coding rates for the higher priority UCI. The UE may multiplex the lower priority UCI and the higher priority UCI by mapping to physical uplink channel resources based on an order (e.g., mapping higher priority UCI followed by mapping lower priority UCI).

    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A wireless device may configure a relay configuration for a set of user equipments (UEs). The relay configuration may include a set of first direction transmission opportunities and corresponding second direction transmission opportunities. The relay configuration may be activated or deactivated, such as on a packet-by-packet basis. When the relay configuration is activated, a first UE and one or more second UEs may sequentially transmit a packet using the first direction transmission opportunities so as to be receivable by the wireless device and each other. The relay process may continue, for example, until the wireless device successfully receives the packet. The wireless device may monitor the first direction transmission opportunities and transmit positive or negative acknowledgments during the second direction transmission opportunities to indicate whether it has successfully received the packet.

    Abstract: Techniques are described herein for determining a priority ranking for channel state information (CSI) reports based at least in part on a reliability parameter, a latency parameter, or both of resources allocated to a user equipment (UE). In some wireless communications systems, ultra reliable low latency communication (URLLC) services may be interspersed with enhanced mobile broadband (eMBB) services. The UE may perform a CSI report prioritization procedure to account for reliability parameters, latency parameters or both. In some cases, CSI reporting for resources associated URLLC services may receive higher priority than CSI reporting for eMBB services. The UE may be configured to determine reliability parameters and/or latency parameters based on signaling received from the network or from determining changes to one or more configurations of the UE. In some cases, the priority ranking of the CSI report may be based at least in part on a slot set identifier.

    Abstract: Certain aspects of the present disclosure provide techniques for indicating unoccupied data channel occasions for semi-persistent scheduling of wireless data communications. One aspect provides a method for wireless communication by a user-equipment (UE).     Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. Pre-discrete Fourier transform (DFT) time-domain spreading codes may be applied for UE multiplexing for uplink control information (e.g., over shared resources of an uplink slot). For example, a moderate number of UEs may be multiplexed within the same slot by having each UE spread modulation symbols before DFT-spreading by different spreading code. For orthogonality across UEs, the pre-DFT spreading codes may be selected as orthogonal cover codes (OCCs). The spreading sequences can be generated from a set of any orthogonal sequences or generated from unitary matrices. In some cases, orthogonality in the time domain may be kept as well as a frequency division multiplexed (FDM) structure in the frequency domain. For such property, a Fourier basis OCC design may be used. In some other examples, a Hadamard matrix based OCC design may be used.
