Abstract: Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a multi-subscriber identity module (SIM) user equipment (UE) may communicate, using a first SIM, on a plurality of component carriers. The multi-SIM UE may select a first subset of component carriers from the plurality of component carriers based at least in part on a component carrier prioritization. The multi-SIM UE may identify an amount of memory available to a second SIM. The multi-SIM UE may tune away, based at least in part on the amount of memory available to the second SIM, from a second subset of component carriers The first subset of component carriers may be different from the second subset of component carriers. Abstract: A user equipment (UE) configured for dual connectivity with a split bearer configuration may transmit uplink data packets to one or both a master cell group (MCG) and a secondary cell group (SCG). The UE may transmit an uplink transmission from a packet data convergence protocol (PDCP) entity over one or both of a first radio link control (RLC) entity associated with the MCG and a second RLC entity associated with the SCG. The configuration including a transmit buffer threshold. The UE may receive, at the PDCP entity, an uplink switch start indication. The UE may activate the second RLC entity in response to receiving the uplink switch start indication. The UE may transmit a buffer status report according to a current transmit buffer level plus the transmit buffer threshold. Accordingly, the UE may communicate with the SCG based on the uplink switch start indication.

Abstract: A method, a computer-readable medium, and an apparatus are provided for wireless communication at a user equipment (UE). The apparatus determines that a first subscriber identity module (SIM) and a second SIM of the UE share a cross switch and determines whether to modify concurrent operation of the first SIM or the second SIM based, at least in part, on a determination that the first SIM and the second SIM of the UE share the cross-switch. The concurrent operation of the first SIM and the second SIM may include the first SIM performing SRS antenna switching and the second SIM performing an idle mode activity.

Abstract: A user equipment (UE) uses idle time slots for system acquisition for IRAT measurement. To speed up the IRAT measurement, the UE starts system acquisition for a for first Global System for Mobile Communications (GSM) cell. The UE suspends the system acquisition of the first GSM cell when the first GSM cell signal strength falls below a signal strength of another GSM cell in a neighbor list. The UE then stores information acquired during the system acquisition of the first GSM cell, prior to the suspension. The UE starts a system acquisition for a second GSM cell after the suspension. The UE then resumes the system acquisition of the first GSM cell using the stored information after the second cell is acquired or the acquisition process aborts.
