The connectable pattern detection means 62 reads out respectively a circumferential direction connectable flag from a circumferential direction connection table 21, a radial direction connectable flag from a radial direction connection table 22 and selectively a code from a code order answering table 24, and it finds a retrieval order of a code number that this coincides with a recording pattern code, and reproduces/outputs the output data rd (q).

SOLUTION: First, a recording start position is recorded as a control information for a basic recording operation, next, main data is recorded. And last, a recording finish position is recorded as control information. Also, when the main data is recorded, discrimination information by which continuity of recording operation can be discriminated is recorded in each recorded sector. That is, a terminal part of a file can be found by control information about a start point recorded at the time of start of recording and discrimination information of continuity in a real data part even if recording is interrupted and recording control information is not finished.

    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To recompose a program and to receive images by dividing the video information of the same category program into plural blocks, performing transmission simultaneously with transmission order data information and selecting a category and reproduction time set beforehand on a reception side. SOLUTION: After the video data of an HDD array device 11 are divided and transmission block data, transmission order data capable of selecting video blocks, a program code and the reproduction time, etc., are generated in an editing controller 9, they are tentatively stored in an HDD device 13 through a transmission controller 12. Thereafter, by the instruction of the controller 12, they are successively read, supplied to a block information encoder 15 and turned to the transmission order data of a format. The transmission block data are encoded in an error correction means 16, passed through an interleave means 17 and modulated in a modulator 18. A modulation processing similar to the transmission block data is executed also to the transmission order data, they are distributed to respective households 23 in relation with the block data and the same program of the same reproduction time is recomposed by the order data.

The received data are given to an ID check section 12, in which the data are discriminated to be a couple of data and the result is fed to a decoder 13. The decoder 13 decodes the converted data based on the received password. Since the converted data and the password are fed to different addresses via separate paths, even when the transfer destination for one data is mistaken, the content of the data is not easily leaked at the transfer destination.

The eccentricity of the optical disk is measured similarly also, and various displacement amounts of the optical disk are measured easily and precisely.

The transmitted data are once received by a receiver means 18 and decoded by a DEC 20 and accumulated in an MGO-G24 in the game machine 22. After that, the transfer instruction 7 is issued from the controller 2 to HD-S8, and thus the variable data at HD-S8 is accumulated in MO-G24 of the video game equipment 22. When a disk of MO4 is exchanged, commercial advertisements can be renewed.

Similarly, also when the signal CB is at a prescribed level or below, the fault detecting signal is recorded. The detection part 22 stops the operation according to the recording mode period, and the detection part 12 stops the operation for a prescribed period from the recording mode start. The operation of the detection parts 12, 22 are stopped in a digital signal recording area based on the signal BT of the pulse generation part 32.
