Abstract: PURPOSE: To provide an ID card with a photograph having means for preventing forgery due to replacement of the photograph. CONSTITUTION: A cutout 5 is so provided at the photograph recording layer of a face photograph area 4 on a support layer as to form a lattice pattern, a graphic pattern or a character, and covered with a laminating film having an adhesive thereon. Thus, when the laminated film is pulled and released, the photograph recording layer is broken to effectively prevent the forgery.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To improve the dye fixability of an image receiver layer and facilitate the transferring of the image receiving layer, on which heat transferring image is formed, otherwise that of before the formation of image on various bases. CONSTITUTION:Heat transferred image 2a is formed by cationic dye-containing ink ribbon 6 on a heat transferring image receiving layer 2 transferred on a base 4 or by re-transferring the cationic dye image formed on photographic paper from the photographic paper onto the heat transferring image receiving layer 2. Alternately, the heat transferred image 2a is formed by cationic dye- containing ink ribbon 6 on the heat transferring image receiving layer 2 of the transferring sheet of heat transferring image receiving layer in advance before the transferring on the base 4, otherwise after the formation of the heat transferred image 2a by re-transferring the cationic dye image formed on the photographic paper from the photographic paper onto the heat transferring image receiving layer 2, the heat transferring image receiving layer 2, on which the heat transferred image 2a is formed, is transferred to another base 4.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To form a superior image by a method wherein a thermal transfer ink composition is formed by incorporating a basic dye and an organic high-molecular-weight substance and dispersing or dissolving the basic dye in the organic high-molecular- weight substance using a solubilizer having a compatibility to both. CONSTITUTION:A thermal transfer ink composition is formed by incorporating a basic dye and an organic high-molecular-weight substance. The basic dye is dispersed or dissolved in the organic high-molecular-weight substance using a solubilizer having a compatibility to both the basic dye and the organic high-molecular-weight substance. An ink layer containing the thermal transfer ink composition is formed on a substrate, whereby a thermal transfer ink ribbon is produced. Furthermore, a thermal transfer sheet is formed by providing an accepting layer containing an intercalation compound having substituted ions exchangeable with the ions of the basic dye and a binder resin. On one surface of a substrate 6 made of, e.g. PET on the opposite side to a heat-resistant lubricating layer 5, the thermal transfer ink composition is provided, whereby a thermal transfer ink ribbon 8 with an ink layer 7 is formed.

An ink layer 3 containing this cation dye made hydrophobia is laminated on a support 2 having a heat-resistant slip layer 1 to obtain a thermal transfer ink ribbon 10.
