Abstract: PURPOSE:To omit a detecting switch for insertion of a cassette by adding a member which is shifted in response to the insertion of a cassette to a cassette holder and switching a detecting switch for miserasion preventing pawl of cassette according to the shift of said member to detect the cassette insertion. CONSTITUTION:When a tape cassette 12 is manually set into a cassette holder 10 by 10-13mm, the holder 10 moves to the right and a drive lever 25 having a slit 26 where a pin 14 of the holder 10 interlocks is turned clockwise round a support shaft 23. At the same time, a drive gear 24 which interlocks a lever 25 via a limiter spring 27 is also turned clockwise. Then a cam 36 formed at the side face of the gear 24 pushed a due part of a detection lever 32 for cassette insertion. Then the lever 32 is turned clockwise round a support shaft 33 and at the same time a detecting switch 31 for miserasion preventing pawl is pushed by an arm 34 provided at the tip of the lever 32. Thus the switch 31 is closed to drive a motor and the cassette 12 is loaded at the prescribed position of a VTR.

Abstract: PURPOSE: To attain a low cost loading device by delivering a torque of a motor to either a cassette loading mechanism or a tape loading mechanism in a prescribed timing via a power transmission means having a planetary gear mechanism.
CONSTITUTION: When the motor 13 is driven, its torque is delivered to an input gear 4 of the planetory gear mechanism 2, a rotary shaft 3 and a sun gear 7 are driven and planetory gears 12, 12 are driven in a prescribed direction. The torque of the planetory gears 12, 12 drives the 1st output gear 8 only when the drive of the 2nd output gear 10 is blocked to execute the cassette loading, and after the cassette loading is finished, the drive of the 1st output gear 8 is blocked to drive the 2nd output gear 10 only and attain the tape laoding. The blocking is applied to either the 1st output gear 8 or the 2nd output gear 10 according to the prescribed loading mode.
