SOLUTION: As a recording medium, a recording medium which can be random-accessed such as a magnetic disk 5a or the like is provided. A table-of- contents(TOC) region is formed on the magnetic disk 5a, and information data on a recording data or the like regarding a recorded title is recorded. When the magnetic disk 5a is placed, the information data is read out so as to be stored in an information-system memory 16, and it is supplied to a system controller 10 as required. When a reservation is set, the system controller 10 controls a display output part 12 on the basis of the information data, and a reservation setting screen or the like which contains the recording state display of the magnetic disk 5a is displayed via an image output device such as a television receiver or the like. Data which is set by a user by referring to the display is controlled by the information-system memory 15 so as to be recorded on the magnetic disk 5a at a prescribed timing.

Thus, since the audio data are arranged adjacently or close to the I picture data even in the case of special reproduction, all the audio data in the block can be easily reproduced from the disk recording medium and only the desired audio data can be processed.
