    Abstract: PURPOSE:To obtain flexible fabric having swell and excellent handle by heat- treating fabric comprising conjugate yarn having formed an aqueous solution- soluble component at least on the surface at a dyeing temperature or higher, solving dividing the conjugate yarn with an aqueous solution and dyeing. CONSTITUTION:Conjugate yarn consisting of an aqueous solution-soluble component such as a copolymer polyester comprising terephthalic acid as a main acid composition and other acid components of 8-15mol% sodium salt of 5- sulfoisophthalic acid and 5-40mol% isophthalic acid and ethylene glycol as a main diol component or a copolymer polyester comprising terephthalic acid as a main acid and other acid components of 1-15mol% sodium salt of 5- sulfoisophthalic acid and 20mol% or less isophthalic acid and ethylene glycol and an adduct of bisphenol A with ethylene oxide as main diol components, as a sea component and PET as an island component, is woven into plain weave. Then the plain weave is heat-treated at a temperature 10 deg.C higher than the dyeing temperature, dissolved and divided with the aqueous solution into 0.5de or smaller and dyed.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To easily recover the subject melt-moldable resin from an aqueous solution and prevent the waste liquid pollution by adding a specific compound to an aqueous solution of a watersoluble copolymerized polyethylene terephthalate resin to effect the coagulation of the resin. CONSTITUTION:An aqueous solution of a copolymerized polyethylene terephthalate resin copolymerized with 8-20mol% of 5-sodium sulfoisophthalate and 5-40mol% of isophthalic acid is coagulated by the addition of an alkaline- earth metal compound (preferably calcium hydroxide, magnesium carbonate, etc.). The coagulated resin is recovered by filtration. The alkaline-earth metal compound is added usually until the above resin solution becomes hard water.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To readily obtain the subject product simply by treatment with hot water without using chemicals by using fiber in which a specific copolymerized polyethylene terephthalate and other resins are subjected to melt conjugate spinning so as to provide specified arrangement. CONSTITUTION:(A) A copolymerized polyethylene terephthalate resin in which 8-20mol% 5-sodium sulfoisophthalic acid is copolymerized with 5-40mol% isophthalic acid and (B) other resins are subjected to melt conjugate spinning so that the component (A) may constitute the fiber surface and the component (B) may be continuous filament when the component (A) is removed. The melt spun yarnlike substance is then taken off, opened and collected. The resultant sheetlike substance is subsequently treated with hot water to remove the component (A). Thereby, the objective product is obtained. The treatment with the hot water is preferably carried out for >=20sec by using the hot water at >=90 deg.C treated with a cation capturing agent such as tripolyphosphoric acid.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To obtain the title yarn having high strength, high modulus of elasticity, excellent heat resistance, chemical resistance and dimensional stability, hardly peeling by subjecting a specific polyphenylene sulfide resin and a main chain type liquid crystal resin to complex melt spinning. CONSTITUTION:(A) (i) Dichlorobenzene and (ii) sodium sulfide are dissolved in (iii) N-methylpyrrolidone and polymerized to give a resin, which is washed with (iv) an acid such as acetic acid to give a polyphenylene sulfide resin. The polyphenylene sulfide resin and (B) preferably 95-10wt.% main chain type liquid crystal resin shown by the formula (n1, n2 and n3 are mol% values and total is 100) are melted by an extruder, etc., and subjected to sheath-core spinning, bimetal spinning, etc., to give the objective yarn.
