Abstract:
PURPOSE:To reduce leakage flux which is leaked to the outside of a deflecting yoke by forming the magnetic core of the saddle-saddle type deflecting yoke with the size covering from the axial winding portion of horizontally and vertically deflecting coils to the fluorescent-screen-side crossover portion of the horizontally deflecting coil. CONSTITUTION:The magnetic core 32 of a deflecting yoke 27 is extended to the front side of the magnetic core of a conventional deflecting yoke, and formed with the size covering from the axial winding portions of horizontally and vertically deflecting coils 30, 31 to the front crossover portion 33 of the horizontally deflecting coil 30 facing the front opening of a mold member. In this way, if the magnetic core 32 is formed, as in the deflecting yoke 27, with the size covering to the front crossover portion 33 of the horizontally deflecting coil 30, horizontally and vertically deflecting leakage flux generated from the horizontally and vertically deflecting coils 30, 31 are concentrated inside the magnetic core 32 to reduce leakage flux which is leaked to the outside of the deflecting yoke 27.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a luminaire which can emit light even in a side face direction or back direction and is easy to manufacture.SOLUTION: A luminaire includes a light source 3, a housing 2 which supports the light source and has an opening 8 for emitting light, and a prism 5 provided to the opening of the housing. The prism is provided at a position on which at least part of a light beam emitted within a range of a latitude angle of 0-30 degrees from the light source is incident, where the latitude angle is defined so that the forward direction of the light source is at 90 degrees, the side face direction is at 0 degrees, and the back direction is at -90 degrees.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a luminaire which can emit light even to a side face direction or back direction and is easy to manufacture.SOLUTION: A luminaire includes a substrate 2, a light source 4 which is mounted on a mount surface 2a of the substrate and emits light with directivity in a normal direction of the mount surface, and a translucent cover 6 having translucency which has a cross-section swelling in the normal direction of the mount surface, covers the light source, and emits the light emitted from the light source to the outside. The translucent cover has a plurality of prism regions 7 bending the light emitted from the light source to a direction where the light diverges in the normal direction of the mount surface.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lighting device which can easily suppress an irradiation light distribution from wide distribution light to narrow distribution light without showing a point light source image even using highly-directional light source such as an LED.SOLUTION: The lighting device includes: a light source 16; a light entrance part 24 making light from the light source incident; and a light guide body 18 having an irradiation region 30 irradiating the light entered from the light source to the outside of an irradiation device, and guiding the light emitted from the light source. At least part of the irradiation region is oriented to be opposite to a direction of the light entering the light entrance part.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an illumination device that can easily control irradiation light distribution from wide light distribution to narrow light distribution without showing a point light source image even if a point-like light source with strong directionality such as an LED is used.SOLUTION: The illumination device includes a light source 16, a light entering part 24 making light incident from the light source, and an irradiation area 30 emitting the light incident from the light source outside, as well as a light guide body 18 guiding light emitted from the light source. At least a part of the irradiation area faces to a side opposite to a direction of the light incident to the light entering part.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lighting system capable of emitting light on a side-face or a rear-face direction and easy to manufacture.SOLUTION: The lighting system includes a base material 2 having a front-face flat part 2a, a light source 6 emitting visible light, a translucent cover 4 covering at least a front face of the light source and equipped with a translucent region for emitting light emitted from the light source toward outside, and an optical control member 20 fitted between the light source and the translucent region. The light source is arranged at a front-face flat part of the base material, wherein luminous intensity of light emitted from the light source is strong in a normal direction of the front-face flat part. The light source has a directivity getting zero at a rear-face side rather than a side-face direction of the front-face flat part. The optical control member partly reflects and partly transmits light from the light source, with its diameter larger than a minimum diameter of a rear-face side end part of the translucent region.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bulb-type lighting device which is excellent in light use efficiency at low cost and can attain a required light-distributing distribution and a required luminance distribution, a plane lighting device capable of thinning, and a liquid crystal display device having the plane lighting device.SOLUTION: The lighting device includes: a plane radiation surface; at least one light source 5 arranged so as to face the radiation surface; and a sheet-shaped optical control member 20 which is arranged between the radiation surface and the light source and has optical characteristics of transmission, refraction, scattering, and reflection changed at each region, and makes the distribution of the optical characteristics defined in accordance with a relative position to one light source and is controlled by at least one of a reflective film having a reflectance distribution, a reflective film having a distribution of an aperture ratio, or a lens.

SOLUTION: The planar lighting device includes a plurality of light sources 22, a light guiding layer 26 arranged on an emission side of the light sources and guiding a light from the light sources, and a reflection layer 25 arranged on an opposite side of the light guiding layer from the light sources and transmitting a part of the light, wherein the light guiding layer has a light scattering property of scattering the light.
