Abstract:
An exemplary object is to provide a library apparatus, a magazine insertion detection method, and a program that are capable of detecting whether or not a magazine is inserted for all the magazine insertion positions without using sensors for detecting insertion of magazines. A library apparatus includes: a mark reading unit which is provided in an accessor unit which transfers a plurality of media that can be read and written by a computer, and reads a predetermined mark for all insertion positions of a plurality of magazines which can be inserted into the library apparatus and can accommodate the media, the mark being stuck to each of cells accommodating the media; and a control unit which, if the mark can be read, determines that a magazine is inserted at an insertion position which includes a read position for which a reading result that the mark can be read has been obtained, and, if the mark cannot be read, determines that no magazine is inserted at an insertion position which includes a read position for which a reading result that the mark cannot be read has been obtained.
Abstract:
A library device in which, even if the relation between the number of pulses of a stepping motor and an encoder count number changes, a movement distance of a medium transfer means can be verified by an encoder count number counted by an encoder sensor is provided.A control means (2) determines a proof factor used when calculating an assumed encoder count number assumed based on the number of pulses according to a movement distance of a medium transfer means (5). When a movement distance of the medium transfer means (5) is verified, an assumed encoder count number, which is assumed based on the above-mentioned determined proof factor and the number of pulses according to the movement distance of the medium transfer means (5), and an actual encoder count number, which is counted by an encoder sensor when a stepping motor is driven by the number of pulses according to the movement distance of medium transfer means (5), are compared.
Abstract:
In a layout system, assuming that container (partial region) B is set with a high priority level, and the contents of container A are changed after a previous browse timing of the user, container B is preferentially laid out irrespective of the change in contents of container A. Upon generating a digital document by inserting contents in respective containers in accordance with the definition of a document template, the unread/read state of a container or content is managed for each user. The priority level of display of the container or a container in which the content is inserted is set in accordance with the unread/read state of the container or content, and a digital document on which a plurality of containers are arranged in accordance with the priority levels is generated.

Abstract:
A semiconductor laser device includes a semiconductor laser element configured to emit a fundamental wave; a transducer configured to receive the fundamental wave incident thereon and convert a wavelength of the fundamental wave to emit wavelength converted light; a filter configured to selectively transmit wavelength range light having a desired wavelength range of the wavelength converted light; a sealing member including a light-transmitting member and configured to enclose the semiconductor laser element, the light-transmitting member being configured to receive the wavelength range light transmitted through the filter and incident on the light-transmitting member, specularly reflect part of the wavelength range light, and substantially transmit the remaining part of the wavelength range light; and a photoreceptor configured to receive the specularly reflected light from the light-transmitting member.
Abstract:
When a client PC receives a request for printing output data, an imaging apparatus captures an image of a user. The image data of the user captured by the imaging apparatus and the output data is transferred to a management server. The management server performs predetermined image processing on the acquired image data, calculates a characteristic amount of the image data of the user, and registers the calculated characteristic amount and the output data by associating with each other. When the user requests printing of the output data from an image forming apparatus, image data of the user captured by the imaging apparatus is transferred to the management server. The management server calculates a characteristic amount of the acquired image data of the user, compares the calculated characteristic amount with the characteristic amount in the management server, and transfers the output data to the image forming apparatus.
Abstract:
An obstacle detection apparatus includes an ultrasonic sensor and a control part. The ultrasonic sensor detects a presence of an obstacle around a vehicle and a distance to the obstacle by transmitting an ultrasonic wave and receiving the ultrasonic wave reflected by the obstacle. The control part includes at least one of a rainfall amount determining portion and a noise determining portion. When the rainfall determining portion determines that a rainfall amount is greater than a predetermined amount or when the noise determining portion determines that noise is present, the control part outputs a command signal to the ultrasonic sensor so that the ultrasonic sensor decreases a directivity compared with a case where the rainfall determining portion determines that the rainfall amount is less than or equal to the predetermined amount or a case where the noise determining portion determines that noise is not present.

Abstract:
A processing apparatus that can produce a suitable display according to a user's operation purpose, thus improving operability for a user. A purpose of a user's operation is determined, and processing capacity information on the processing apparatus, which suits the determined purpose, is obtained. Based on the obtained processing capacity information, a type of document information to be displayed is determined. The display information is generated in accordance with document information corresponding to the determined type.
