PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily reproduce playing sound of KARAOKE (orchestration without lyrics) music without using a sound source. SOLUTION: As BGM, a playing sound of KARAOKE music played by using music data and driving a sound source device 18 is made into digital data and stored in a hard disk as digital playing sound data. When KARAOKE music is requested, KARAOKE playing is executed by reproducing the stored digital playing sound data for several ten seconds required for setting up the sound source device 18, and after the device 18 is set up, the musical sound of the sound source device and the reproduced sound are overlapped and switched. Thus, the KARAOKE playing is started without waiting time. Also, by reproducing the digital playing sound data at the time of introducing new music and best music, the music is easily understandably introduced. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide technology for controlling balance between each audio signal according to a reproducing condition of the audio signal or a reproducing mode of the audio signal.SOLUTION: The following processes are individually performed on each of performance data (part signals S1 to 6) of each part, which is included in music piece data distributed from a karaoke music piece distribution server. That is, a part signal S indicated in a channel selection section 111 is removed (minus one), a frequency characteristic is converted with an equalizer 113, each performance data is compressed with a compressor 115, and a signal level is adjusted with an amplifier 116. As a result, the music piece data in which balance of each part included in the music piece data, and balance between music pieces are adjusted for singer's desired mode can be created.

SOLUTION: This cache control device has a plurality of caches 25 corresponding to the kind of data. Capacity of each the cache 25 is determined based on at least one of access frequency wherein the data are acquired from a server, a size of the data, and a transfer rate when acquiring the data from the server. When the transfer rate of the data is small (the acquisition time is long), when the size of the data is large (the acquisition time is long), or when the access frequency is high (an acquisition frequency is large), the cache having large capacity is allocated. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide technology capable of displaying a lyrics telop in accordance with flow of a music piece, even when tempo of the music piece is changed like live music. SOLUTION: In a storage section 12 of an image display device 10, lyrics data are stored by dividing it into a plurality of blocks, and collating data for indicating a string of phonemes of the lyrics corresponding to the lyrics data are stored for each block. A control section 11 detects motion of lips of a singer from image data, and detects a string (a pattern) of vowels included in singing voice of the singer from a detection result. The control section 11 collates the detected pattern with a collating pattern stored in the storage section 12, and specifies the block which is being sung, based on a matching degree. The control section 11 starts generation of a lyrics image data for expressing an image of the lyrics of the block in timing of the block being specified, and combines the generated lyrics image data with an image data for expressing the imaged image, and displays it on a display section 13. SOLUTION: Karaoke musical piece data having background video starring a singer himself or herself are stored; live video input from a video input unit 24 and the background video are compared and synchronized with each other (a synchronous control unit 3), and a clock signal is generated based upon the synchronism (a clock generator 4). SOLUTION: Audio/video data are input from a studio device 3 installed in a studio where the live musical performance is carried out, and reproduced. Whereas, only audio data are reproduced as a reference, and a tempo clock signal synchronized with the audio data and a time code indicating the playing position thereof are generated. The tempo clock signal and time code are generated by reference to auxiliary information, such as music information and song pointer information, sent from the studio device 3. SOLUTION: Original data of music data to be set as call incoming melody is created (a step S11), the original data is converted into distribution data in a standardized distribution format and how the converted distribution data in the distribution format is reproduced by a telephone terminal is confirmed (a step S12). Thus, the created distribution data is stored in a storage means and a data base is created (a step S13). The content data is downloaded by accessing the data base by distributing by e-mail from the data base and calling an extension function called a common gateway interface (CGI) provided to a server. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a musical piece data playback system capable of automatically selecting proper data on background images to be displayed together with the playback of a musical piece according to the calendar to dynamically show variation. SOLUTION: The musical piece data playback system classifies background image data according to a plurality of calendar conditions [day(*3), days(*3), month(*2), season(*1)] and stores them in [(*1) to (+5)]. When musical piece data distributed from a server are reproduced, background image data having matching calendar conditions are selected and displayed as the musical piece data are reproduced. The respective calendar conditions have specified priority levels (e.g. day>days>month>season) set and when background image data meeting calendar conditions of high priority level are not present, background image data meeting calendar conditions of lower priority level are retrieved one after another.
