Abstract:
A removable screen system comprising a plurality of magnetic fasteners, a formable material comprising one or a plurality of receptacles for receiving the magnetic fasteners, an attachment surface external to the formable material and magnetically compatible with the magnetic fasteners, wherein the formable material is movable along the attachment surface.
Abstract:
A drapery holder releasably engages a header jamb of a window. A vertical front wall and back wall are disposed in parallel relation to one another and are interconnected to one another by a horizontal bottom wall. Co-planar horizontal flanges are formed integrally with the front wall and the back wall and extend toward one another. Respective inboard ends of the horizontal flanges are spaced apart from one another to capture drapery carriers that are slideable along the extent of the horizontal flanges under the control of a drapery control apparatus. A channel is formed by the horizontal bottom wall and respective upper ends of the front and back walls and a plurality of magnets is positioned within the channel. Each magnet magnetically engages ferrous materials that form a part of the header jamb so that the drapery holder is releasably secured to the header jamb by a magnetic field.
Abstract:
A single-track stacking panel covering for an architectural opening has a headrail for mounting the covering above and in front of the opening, such as a window or door. The headrail has a single track. Suspended from the headrail and translatable therealong are panels oriented at a small angle relative to the headrail. When the covering is open, the panels form an overlappingly stacked array at one end of the headrail.
Abstract:
A curtain system is described which includes a curtain having a plurality of rod engaging members attached thereto, a plurality of rods each having a first end, and a curtain release mechanism attached to each rod at the first end thereof. The rod engaging members each include a stem having a first end and a second end, the first end of the stem configured for engagement with the curtain release mechanism, and a keyway formed in the stem and proximate the first end of the stem.
Abstract:
A privacy curtain system is described that includes a curtain having a plurality of rod engaging members extending therefrom, a curtain gathering cord slidably engaged with the curtain, and a plurality of rods. Each rod has a lower hooking member configured to engage one of the rod engaging members. The curtain gathering cord is operable to cause the rod engaging members to release from a respective lower hooking member.
Abstract:
A curtain system is described which includes a curtain having a plurality of rod engaging members attached thereto, a plurality of rods each having a first end, and a curtain release mechanism attached to the rod at the first end thereof. The rod engaging members each includes a stem having a first end and a second end and a yoke extending from the first end of the stem. The curtain release mechanisms have a slot formed therein and extending therethrough and also include a user operable mechanism for retention of the yoke upon insertion into the slot. The user operable mechanism is further operable for substantially simultaneous release of the yokes and therefore the curtain from the curtain release mechanisms.
Abstract:
A curtain system is described that includes a curtain having a plurality of rod engaging members attached at an end thereof. The plurality of rods each have a curtain release mechanism attached thereto where the rod engaging members are configured to engage respective curtain release mechanisms. The curtain release mechanisms each include a user operable mechanism for retention of and subsequent substantially simultaneous release of the rod engaging members from the curtain release mechanisms.
Abstract:
A magnetic apparatus for holding selected drapery sections in a predetermined configuration includes a first base member of predetermined shape housing a permanent magnet, and an elongated flexible connector attached proximal one end to the first base member. A second base member housing a ferromagnetic member is disposed adjacent an opposite end of the elongated flexible connector.
Abstract:
Methods and systems for a protective system are provided. The system includes a frame configured to match the contour of a side edge of a separate fabric panel, a sheet of material surrounding at least a portion of the frame, and an attachment member coupled to the frame wherein the attachment member is configured to attach the frame to the side edge such that the sheet of material covers at least a portion of the side edge.
Abstract:
A traverse-type window blind with multiple rods and blinds includes brackets, support rods, sliding hooks, and blind bodies wherein each bracket has an abutment face to be fixed to a sidewall of a window frame and at least two or more support portions sequentially arranged at the other side for the mounting of the support rods thereon respectively. Each sliding hook has a hooked upper portion larger than the support portion thereof to be guided through traverse spaces defining the support portions and hanged onto the support rod thereby so that each blind body suspending between every two sliding hooks can be synchronically moved along the support rod without being interfered in an easy traverse-type operation. Besides, each sliding hook has a protective member mounted to the hooked upper portion so as to avoid direct contact with the surface of the support rod and refrain from any damages caused thereby.
