    SOLUTION: The ferromagnetic material separation apparatus 11 includes a cylindrical swirling flow path 12 in which a fluid carrying a heterogeneous powder mixture (a mixture of ferromagnetic particles 1 and non-magnetic particles 2) is made to swirl so as to apply a centrifugal force to the ferromagnetic particles 1 and non-magnetic particles 2, and magnetic field generating units 13 which are disposed at multiple positions along the cylindrical swirling flow path 12 so as to apply a magnetic force to the ferromagnetic particles 1 in the direction of the centrifugal force.
