본 발명은 종이 티슈에 관한 것이며, 특히, 화장지 및 1회용 손수건에 관한 것이다. 티슈지 웹으로부터 티슈지 제품을 제조하는 방법이 청구되고 기재되었다. 상기 방법은: - 상기 티슈지 웹을 제1 및 제2 엠보싱 롤 간에 형성된 엠보싱 닙으로 통과시키는 단계로서, 상기 엠보싱 롤 중 적어도 한 롤은 평방 센티미터 당 30개 이상의 엠보싱 요소를 포함하는, 통과 단계, 및, - 전달가능한 로션을 상기 티슈지 웹의 적어도 일부분에 도포하는 단계를 포함한다. 상기 방법에 따라서 제조된 종이 티슈 제품이 추가로 청구되어 있다.

본 발명의 멀티 레이어 물티슈는 수분을 머금고 있으며 독립적으로 엠보싱 처리된 제1, 2 원단(1, 3), 이 제1, 2원단(1, 3)의 대칭 구조로 형성되는 합지 원단에 형성되는 공기층(5), 그리고 제1, 2 원단(1, 3)의 일측에 도포된 파우더 층(7)을 포함하며; 파우더가 도포된 면으로 피부를 닦을 경우 피부에 묻어 있는 이물질을 닦아 내면서 피부에 파우더를 도포하게 되고 동시에 공기층의 공기가 피부로 불어 나와 쿠션을 제공하면서 피부를 건조시켜 파우더만 피부에 잔류케 하여, 1회의 물티슈 사용으로 이물질 제거와 피부 건조 및 파우더 처리를 동시에 가능케 한다.

An edge embosser for converting paper tissue, having three processing stations, two for engraving (1) and (2) and one for joining (3), between which there are continuous strips of ordinary paper, wherein (P1) is a lower or inner strip and (P2) is an upper or outer strip, so that they can both be embossed with any pattern in the two first stations (1) and (2), and then both are joined by their edges through station (3) forming a finished continuous strip of paper (P3); each engraving station (1 and 2) comprises a pair of rolls, one made of rubber (4A-4B) and the other of engraved steel (5A-5B), where the latter are pulled by the corresponding continuous inner and outer strip of paper (P1 or P2) passing between each pair and guided by casters (6, 7, 8 and 9); said joining station (3) is placed after the two engraving stations (1-2), and it also comprises two rollers, a wheel roller (10) and a pulled counter-wheel roller (11), between which the continuous strips of paper (P1 and P2) are aligned, so that they can be joined by their edges and, thus, said wheel roller (10) presents, along its length, various rings (12) mounted on O-rings (13), each ring constituting the protruding means for supplementary pressure and the realization of the fastening bands by mechanical lamination (F).

Apparatus for bonding at least two plies of fibrous web, includes: a first roller having an outer periphery, a plurality of embossing protuberances being provided on the outer periphery, such first roller being an embossing roller; and a second roller having an outer periphery and being elastic at least in a radial direction and together with the first roller forming a nip through which the at least two plies are be fed, such second roller being a counter roller or a marrying roller, wherein at least a part of the outer periphery of at least one of the first and the second roller is irregularly rough so that the at least two plies are bonded at discrete locations corresponding to at least some of the embossing protuberances. A multi-ply product including the bonded plies and a corresponding method are also described.

A web article (28) includes at least a first fibrous layer (36) laminated with a first facing surface (72) of at least one polymer film layer (38). The first fibrous layer can include a first quantity of cellulosic fibers. The first fibrous layer and the at least one polymer film layer have been configured to provide a target web (26), which has been moved at a selected web speed. A rotating anvil roller (34) and counter-rotating pattern roller (32) have been urged together to provide a selected nip force value. Additionally, the target web has been moved at the web speed through a nip region (30) between the anvil roller (34) and pattern roller (32) to provide an operative first bond between the first fibrous layer (36) and the at least one film layer (38).

The present invention is generally directed to a process for hot embossing a base sheet and/or to a process for perforating and bonding multiple plies of a paper product together. The process can be used in order to apply a decorative pattern to a paper product and/or to bond multiple ply products together. In one embodiment, the process of the present invention includes feeding a previously formed single ply or multi-ply base sheet through a heated embossing nip. As the base sheet passes through the heated embossing nip, sufficient heat and pressure is imparted to cause the fibers within the sheet to begin to melt or glassinate. Upon cooling, inter-fiber bonding occurs resulting in a well-defined embossment as well as bonding between plies of a multi-ply product.

A sheet material web assembly includes a plurality of layers of sheet material web, with each layer having a plurality of embossments arranged in a pattern. The embossments in each layer are raised in the same direction and nest within the plurality of embossments in the other layers. A portion of the pattern of embossments further comprises a plurality of crimped embossments that bind the plurality of layers together.
