PURPOSE: A wire rope grommet sling is provided to have excellent flexibility, abrasion resistance and tensile strength. A manufacturing method thereof is also provided. CONSTITUTION: A manufacturing method of a wire rope grommet sling comprises the steps of: manufacturing a round ring(10) out of a common wire rope(W); winding the wire rope around the round ring; cutting a selected part of the round ring; pulling out the cut round ring; and then inserting a residual wire rope into a position of the round ring.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a high strength fibers comprising a coating of cross-linked silicone polymer, and ropes made thereof. The fibers are preferably high performance polyethylene (HPPE) fibers. The coating comprising a cross-linked silicone polymer is made from a coating composition comprising a cross-linkable silicone polymer. The rope shows markedly improved service life performance in bending applications such as cyclic bend-over-sheave applications. The invention also relates to the use of a cross-linked silicone polymer in a rope for an improvement of bend fatigue resistance.
Abstract:
In an elevator hoisting machine, a rotating shaft is rotatably supported in a bearing mount. The rotating shaft is rotated by a driving force from a drive motor. An elevator car is raised and lowered by means of a main rope by rotation of the rotating shaft. A main rope winding portion around which the main rope is wound is formed integrally on the rotating shaft. A rope groove into which the main rope is inserted is disposed on the main rope winding portion.
Abstract:
A push-pull steel cable (10) comprises a core (12) and an outer layer of filaments (16) twisted around the core (12). The cable (10) is provided with an external coating (20) of extruded material selected from the group consisting of polyethylene terphthalate, polybutylene terephthalate and polyethylene naphthenate. The coating (20) gives to the cable (10) a good resistance against corrosion, a good weather resistance, a good adhesion and adhesion retention and a friction resistance which is comparable to the friction resistance of a cable with a nylon coating. The cable (10) can be used as a brake cable, a shifting lever cable or a window elevator cable.

The present invention is to provide a hybrid core rope (1) which does not require maintenance or a hybrid core rope (1) capable of reducing a maintenance task. The hybrid core rope (1) includes a resin solid core (2) in which a plurality of spiral grooves (2a) is formed in the longitudinal direction on an outer peripheral surface thereof, a plurality of fiber bundles (3) respectively spirally wound around the outer peripheral surface of the resin solid core (2) along the plurality of spiral grooves (2a), the fiber bundles (3) having thickness to fill the spiral grooves (2a), and a plurality of steel strands (4) spirally wound around the outer peripheral surface of the resin solid core (2) around which the fiber bundles (3)are wound. The fiber bundles (3) and the strands (4) are respectively wound so as to have angles which are not parallel to each other.
