A tire having a radial carcass reinforcement, including at least one layer of reinforcing elements, said tire comprising a crown reinforcement, which is itself covered radially with a tread, said tread being joined to two beads via two sidewalls, wherein at least 85% of the reinforcing elements of at least one layer of the carcass reinforcement are non-wrapped metal cords having in what is called the permeability test a flow rate of less than 20 cm3/min, and in that at least 5% of the reinforcing elements of said at least one layer of the carcass reinforcement are cords comprising at least one strand consisting of textile multifilament yarns.

The invention relates to a cable (C) gummed in situ and including: an inner layer (CT1) of the cable including N1 internal wire(s); an outer layer (CT3) of the cable including N3 external wires helically wound around the inner layer of the cable; and a gumming rubber composition (20) placed between the inner layer of the cable and the outer layer of the cable. The rubber composition (20) includes a Formula (I) compound, or a salt of said compound, wherein: each group R1, R2, and R3 is independently an alkylene, arylene, arylalkylene, alkylarylene, or cycloalkylene group; each group X1 and X2 is independently -COOH, -CO-NH-OH, -SOOH, -PO(OR)(R') or -PO(OR)(OR'), R and R' independently being hydrogen or an alkyl group; and X3 contains at least one -COOH, -CO-NH-OH, -SOOH, -PO(OR)(R') or -PO(OR)(OR') group, R or R' independently being hydrogen or an alkyl group.

L'invention concerne un pneumatique à armature de carcasse radiale (2), constituée d'au moins une couche d'éléments de renforcement métalliques (7a), ledit pneumatique comprenant une armature de sommet (5), elle-même coiffée radialement d'une bande de roulement, ladite bande de roulement étant réunie à deux bourrelets par l'intermédiaire de deux flancs. Selon l'invention, au moins 70 % des éléments de renforcement métalliques d'au moins une couche de l'armature de carcasse sont des câbles non frettés présentant au test dit de perméabilité un débit inférieur à 2 cm 3 /mn, et au moins 10 % des éléments de renforcement métalliques de ladite au moins une couche de l'armature de carcasse sont des câbles présentant au test dit de perméabilité un débit supérieur à 4 cm 3 /mn.

The invention concerns a protective composition obtained by slow polymerisation in situ, after injecting at room temperature into a sheath enclosing the strands of a cable, monomer or prepolymer reagents in the presence of a swelling solvent. The monomer reagents can be identical or different vinyl monomers polymerisable by free radical polymerisation, or bifunctional or trifunctional compounds of two different types reacting mutually resulting in bifunctional or trifunctional polymers, or still mixtures of said compounds. Said composition may further contain an anticorrosive agent. The solvent can be selected among esters of benzoic acid, phthalic acid or aliphatic acid saturated or unsaturated having in the aliphatic chain at least 10 carbon atoms, aromatic or polycyclic hydrocarbons, terpenes and phenolic esters optionally slightly polymerised. The resulting composition has viscoelastic properties which enables it to enhance the cable dampening.

The invention relates to a method for filling in a tension member in particular for conveyor belts, in particular a tension member which is configured as a steel cable. The method is intended to allow the full penetration of the tension member structure. Here, the method contains at least the following method steps: - introducing the individual wires (2, 2', 2", 2'", 2"") of the strand (5) into the stranding head (1) of a stranding machine (10) and - partially or fully applying at least one coating agent to at least 50% of the individual wires (2, 2', 2", 2'", 2"") of the strand (5) prior to the twisting of the individual wires (2, 2', 2", 2'", 2"") to form a strand (5) or simultaneously with the twisting of the individual wires (2, 2', 2", 2'", 2"") to form a strand (5) and - twisting the individual wires (2, 2', 2", 2'", 2"") to form a strand (5), wherein at least 50% of the individual wires (2, 2', 2", 2'", 2"") have been provided with at least one coating agent, and - making a cable from at least one strand (5).

The invention relates to a method for coating a tension member, in particular for conveyor belts, in particular a tension member which is in the form of a steel rope. The method allows a complete penetration of the tension member structure. The method comprises at least the following method steps: - introduction of the tension member (2), which is in the form of a rope (2), into a dip tank (1) containing the coating substance; - mechanical and/or physical opening of the rope structure (2) for a short duration during the coating process; - penetration of the coating substance into the opened rope structure (2), the rope (2) being completely impregnated; and - closure of the tension member (2).
