Abstract: A flat display device, an apparatus for testing the same, and a method for testing the same are provided to prevent the mis-judgment on panel defect due to mis-alignment of pins, by applying test signal in a wireless communication method without direct contact between probe pins and pads. A display area(204) includes a plurality of pixel cells defined by plural data lines and plural gate lines. A data pad part includes a plurality of data pads(210) respectively connected to the data lines. First signal receiving elements(215) are respectively formed at the data pads to receive test pattern signal transmitted from a test apparatus during a test process. A gate pad part includes a plurality of gate pads(214) respectively connected to the gate lines. Second signal receiving elements(217) are respectively formed at the gate pads to receive test scan signal transmitted from the test apparatus during the test process.
