Abstract:
This screened connection in the field of television aeriel systems, extended to amplified trigger boxes, dividers, attenuators, shunts, centralized systems, distribution sockets attenuated or not, cables with coaxial reticular screening, having the characteristic of establishing the electrical contact between the typical coaxial net mesh screen and the final clutch element by slipping a truncated cone in electro-conducting material, pierced axially to create a sharp edge, between the sheath around the central conductor and the aforementioned coaxial net mesh; thereby distancing said mesh concentrically from the central conductor and putting it under pressure from a female truncated cone which presses on the typical insulating sheath around the coaxial net mesh, exerting this pressure by means of screws on a sliding block which contains the aforementioned female truncated cone.
Abstract:
Abstract:
The present invention refers to an innovative line of multiple function sockets by integrating a reduced dimensions radio television mechanism which incorporates a coaxial cable quick fixing system that allows an easy installation on the radio television mechanism, thus avoiding the tightening of screws and the use of tools. Besides this characteristic, the conception of the entry location of the coaxial cable allows it to be applied only with the core bared, being the fundamental contact with the mesh assured upon the insertion of the coaxial cable by a spike (16) in the interior of the entry lock cylinder (14) in the radio television mechanism. As for the assembly of the mechanism, this also integrates innovative solutions for the assembly of the frame of the radio television mechanism is achieved by the tightening of screws (11) which guarantee not only the correct accommodation of the components in its interior but also the contact of the printed circuit board (PCB) (7) with the entry contact plating (8) and the frame (10), thus avoiding welding points as it happens with the other existing systems.
Abstract:
The invention relates to surge suppressors. One embodiment provides a surge suppressing device including: a power circuit having an MOV (Fig. 13, Pos. 56) and a thermal fuse (63) in proximity to the MOV; an isolation structure (64) containing the MOV and the thermal fuse; and a plurality of utility outlets (Fig. 1, Pos. 46, 48) in electrical communication with the power circuit. The isolation structure isolates the MOV and thermal fuse from at least a portion of the surge-suppressing device and encapsulates emissions from the MOV during an overvoltage event. Another embodiment provides a surge suppressing device including: a power section (Fig. 1, Pos. 22) having a power circuit; an intermediate section (24) adjacent to the power section; and an outlet section (26) adjacent to the intermediate section such that the intermediate section separates the power section and the outlet section. The outlet section includes a plurality of utility outlets in electrical communication with the power circuit.

Abstract:
A coaxial locking cable connector is described which when used in conjunction with a port adaptor precludes the use of a standard connector and provides increased security for signals emanating from a cable tap port or drop. A connector optionally includes redundant environmental sealing. An additional embodiment of the invention is an adaptor to adapt a standard cable spice or tap port to accept the connector and preclude acceptable standard coaxial connectors.
Abstract:
A wire clamp connector (100) includes a connecting board (1), a plurality of conductive sheets (15), a plurality of conductive mounts (16), and a plurality of wire clamp components (2). The conductive sheets (15) are disposed at one surface of the connecting board (1). The conductive mounts (16) are disposed at the top of the connecting board (1) and connected to the conductive sheets (15). The wire clamp components (2) are disposed at the respective conductive mounts (16). Each of the wire clamp components (2) includes a lock member (21) and a clamping piece (22). The lock member (21) pushes the clamping piece (22) to push against a wire (7), so that the wire (7) can be firmly positioned with the corresponding conductive mount (16). Furthermore, the wire clamp connector (100)) may be applied to the wall mount component (200) so as to be mounted on a wall and connected to an electronic product.
