Abstract:
The computer-readable computer program product contains an image processing program for creating image data for display from RAW image data. The program includes: a command to read out the RAW image data from an image file; a command to read out from a first storage section of the image file a first parameter, created by the camera that created the RAW image data, for performing data conversion processing upon the RAW image data to create the image data for display from the RAW image data; a command to store a second parameter set by the image processing program in a second storage section, which is a different section of the image file from the first storage section; and a command to create the image data for display from the RAW image data, by performing data conversion processing using at least the first parameter or the second parameter.
Abstract:
When an acquired image file GF includes image processing control information GI, a CPU executes image quality adjustment of image data GD in an image processing mode GM specified by the image processing control information GI. When the acquired image file GF does not include the image processing control information GI, on the other hand, the CPU retrieves Exif information and in the case of successful retrieval of the Exif information, selects the image processing mode GM based on the Exif information and executes image quality adjustment of the image data GD in the selected image processing mode GM. In the case where a selected shooting mode is described in the Exif information, the selected shooting mode is used for the selection of the image processing mode GM. In the case where no selected shooting mode is described in the Exif information, on the other hand, another shooting condition is used for the selection of the image processing mode GM.
Abstract:
An image processing apparatus includes a storage unit, a judgment unit and a conversion unit. The storage unit stores a reference color characteristic. The judgment unit judges as to whether or not a difference between an input color characteristic that is a color characteristic of input image data and the reference color characteristic is equal to or less than a predetermined threshold value. The conversion unit converts the input image data into a color characteristic that can be reproduced by an image reproducing apparatus, based on the reference color characteristic if the difference is equal to or less than the predetermined threshold value.
Abstract:
A color conversion definition creating apparatus is capable of creating a color conversion definition that defines a color conversion from a three-dimensional color space to a four or more-dimensional color space with greater accuracy. The color conversion definition creating apparatus comprises the reference definition obtaining section, the range computing section, the correspondence function obtaining section, the component determination section, and the correspondence computing section.
Abstract:
To provide a sign authentication system and method for authenticating the originality of an object having a sign such as a seal or a signature or a pattern which can be deemed as a sign, making counterfeit very difficult even if the mechanism of authentication is revealed, obviating the need for being additionally provided with a special device such as an IC chip used for authenticating the originality. A sign authentication system provides reading a sign such as a personal seal impression as color information for each mesh division, extracting feature points from the color information and storing them, and creating a code for authentication from the feature points. The sign is made with an ink containing color material particles smaller than the mesh division. The feature points on the basis of variation of color information caused
Abstract:
An information processing apparatus (13) inputs image data including a first pixel group, a second pixel group generated by interpolating the first pixel group and verification data of the first pixel group, verifies whether the first pixel group has been altered using the first pixel group and the verification data, verifies whether the second pixel group has been altered by determining whether the second pixel group and the first pixel group are in a predetermined relationship, and determines whether the image data has been altered based on results of the verification as to whether the first pixel group has been altered and the verification as to whether the second pixel group has been altered.
Abstract:
A color manager high level navigation system comprising a graphical user interface, a color manager selection icon at the highest navigation level of the graphical user interface and a color manager further comprising a view menu, a characterization tool icon for activating a profile characterization tool and a profile list window. The view menu includes a filter selection that causes all available profiles to be displayed, a filter selection that causes only destination profiles to be displayed, a filter selection that causes only source profiles to be displayed, a filter selection that causes only device gray source profiles to be displayed, a filter selection that causes only device RGB source profiles to be displayed, a filter selection that causes only device CMY source profiles to be displayed and a filter selection that causes only device CMYK source profiles to be displayed. The profile list window includes a list of available profiles matching a filter criteria selected from the view menu, a message box for displaying confirmation of recent actions and a profile to media button for activating a profile to media assignment dialog. The profile list window further comprises a column displaying an icon for each profile that is characterized as a system profile that cannot be deleted or modified, a column displaying a symbolic name of each profile, a column displaying a type for each profile including, a column displaying a color space type for each profile, a column displaying a description of each profile and a text display box displaying a current default output profile symbolic name.
Abstract:
The technique of the present invention ensures output of an image subjected to image processing, which does not depend upon the output environment but reflects the color reproduction characteristics of a shooting device and the intention of a photographer in shooting. The process generates an image file that includes picture data generated by a digital still camera, as well as control data and output specification information attached thereto. The control data controls the details of image processing according to the color reproduction characteristics of the camera and the intention of the photographer in shooting. The output specification information specifies, for example, the address of a printing device used as an output resource, the type of printing paper used for printing, and the number of copies. The image file is transmitted to an image processing system on a network. The image processing system carries out image processing of the picture data based on the control data, generates an output file, and transmits the output file to an specified output device via the network. Even in the environment that can not perform image processing based on the control data, the arrangement of the invention ensures output of the image that has been subjected to such image processing.
