A system and method for matching one or more source schemas with one or more target schemas is provided. The matching between source and target schemas is performed by gathering inputs pertaining to the source and target schemas, wherein the inputs comprises a set of details in a predefined format. Thereafter, the gathered inputs are processed by comparing the source schemas with the target schemas. The processing is performed to identify a set of matches between the source and target schemas based on the linguistic similarity, structural similarity and functional similarity and relationship between the source and target schemas. Subsequently, the identified matches are stored.
Abstract:
A method for facilitating and improving process adoption in an organization is provided. The organization has a plurality of processes to carry out organizational tasks. The method includes receiving a set of priorities about the organization from at least one stakeholder in the organization. Further, the method includes the step of receiving a set of attributes about the organization from the at least one stakeholder in the organization. Furthermore the method includes the step of processing, on a computer, the set of priorities and the set of attributes to generate an optimal plan of training end users in the organization. The plan of training is designed to facilitate the process adoption. Finally, the method includes the step of monitoring the end users to improve the process adoption.
Abstract:
The invention describes a method, a tour planner, and a computer program product for planning a tour for a group including one or more travelers. In various embodiments of the invention, the tour planner enables a traveler to select a travel route and simultaneously share the selected travel route with at least one other traveler. Thereafter, based on the feedback of the other traveler, the selected travel route is either changed or finalized by the group. Further, the method facilitates the group of travelers on the day of the travel by providing each one of them with one or more alerts relating the finalized travel route.

A system and method for logically masking data by implementing masking algorithms is provided. The method includes receiving one or more inputs from user regarding type of data masking to be implemented depending on type of data entry. Data entries include alphabetical data, data comprising unique codes, data comprising dates and numerical data. Based on inputs received, the data entries are classified and appropriate masking algorithms are executed. For masking numerical data entries, the data entries are first grouped using clustering algorithms and are then shuffled using shuffling algorithms. For low level of data masking selected by a user, numerical data entries are shuffled within groups and for high level of data masking selected by a user, numerical data entries are shuffled across groups.

A system and method for measuring, monitoring and controlling electrical power directed through one or more electricity directing devices is provided. The one or more electricity directing devices includes electrical sockets supplying power to one or more devices. The system includes a potential transformer configured to receive AC voltage directed through a socket and further configured to relay the voltage to a processing device. The system further includes a current sensor configured to sense current drawn from the socket and further configured to relay the current to the processing device. A microcontroller is adapted to receive analog or digital values of voltage and current corresponding to AC voltage and AC current. The microcontroller then measures values of voltage and current, calculate electrical power consumed and generate a control signal. The control signal activates a switching device operationally connected to the socket and switches power flow through the socket.

A method for optimized selection and rendering of advertisements on various device types of a user is provided. The method enables receiving inferred data related to the user. The inferred data includes static context inferred from user profile information. The user profile information includes static details pertaining to the user. The inferred data further includes dynamic context. The dynamic context is inferred from the user's behavior across multiple communication channels using the various device types of the user. The method further enables short listing advertisements based on the inferred data and applying predetermined rules on the short listed advertisements to select a final advertisement. Finally, the method enables rendering the final advertisement on at least one of the various devices types of the user.

A method for building an integrated customer analytics solution for an enterprise is provided. The method enables retrieving and processing customer data from data sources available in the enterprise. Further, statistical techniques are generated using the processed data to facilitate analyzing attributes related to the customer. Statistical model outputs are, then, derived using the generated statistical techniques. The statistical model outputs represent metrics corresponding to the analyzed attributes. Furthermore, statistical models are generated corresponding to the statistical model outputs. The statistical models are associated with scores that facilitate to predict likelihood of customer behavior towards products, services and other customer related aspects associated with the enterprise. In addition, reports are generated based on at least one of: the processed data and the one or more statistical model outputs. Finally, the method enables building analytical modules comprising the reports and the statistical models.

A method and system for implementing automatic recovery from failure of resources in a grid-based distributed database is provided. The method includes determining the category of each node in the subgroup of nodes, where the determination identifies each node as at least one of a worker node and an idle node. The method further includes saving state of each worker node engaged in execution of a task in a shared memory at pre-determined time intervals. Each worker node is monitored by one or more idle nodes in each sub-group. Upon detection of no change in state of worker node for a pre-determined period of time, a failure notification is raised by one or more idle nodes that have detected failure of the worker node.

The present invention provides a method and computer program product for creating an ordered data structure for storing a plurality of data elements. The data elements to be stored are first arranged in an order. A plurality of keys is then generated for the ordered data elements such that the keys may be arranged in a sequence. Thereafter, one or more keys from the plurality of keys are associated with the ordered data elements such that the values of the keys maintain the requisite order among the ordered data elements. Finally, an ordered data structure is created for storing the ordered data elements along with the associated keys.

A system and method for providing location based reminder is provided. The method comprises the steps of instructing mobile switching center to remind user on reaching a predetermined location via transaction input; forwarding the transaction input to external short messaging entity via mobile switching center; processing and sending the transaction input to Location Services (LCS) Client to set up change of area event; determining if the change of area event is invoked and user equipment has entered the predetermined location; providing a report to external short messaging entity via LCS Client, if the change of area event is invoked; and directing external short messaging entity to invoke a reminder on user equipment via application server.
