Abstract:
An anti-glare member prevents reflection of external light by surfaces of displays or screens without causing reduction of contrast and glare of displayed images. The anti-glare member has an anti-glare layer comprising microparticles and a transparent binder wherein the microparticles are black microparticles having a value (n), obtained by dividing absolute value of complex index of refraction of the black microparticles by index of refraction of the transparent binder, of 0.95 to 1.05. The arithmetical mean roughness (Ra) according to JIS B0601:2001 of surface of the anti-glare layer is 0.3 to 1.0 μm.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a prism sheet superior in scratch resistance and hard to observe optical defect while suppressing deterioration of brightness to a front direction, and to provide a backlight using the same. SOLUTION: The prism sheet 1 includes: a lens layer 2 composed by repeating of a unit U formed by sequentially juxtaposing one trapezoidal cross section structural row (a) and two triangular cross section structural rows (b). Preferably, height of the trapezoidal cross section structural row of the lens layer is higher than that of the triangular cross section structural row, and its difference is 1 μm or more. Abstract:
A transmission screen having a writable and erasable surface for one side is provided. This transmission screen is constructed so that the writable and erasable surface should have a specular gloss (JIS K5600-4-7:1999) of 70 to 135%, the transmission screen as a whole should have a haze (JIS K7136:2000) of 80% or more, and the surface opposite to the writable and erasable surface should have a specular gloss (JIS K5600-4-7:1999) of 10% or less. With this transmission screen, writing with a marker for white boards and erasing can be easily done while seeing images projected on the transmission screen, and the images from a projector do not become hard to see due to projection of the images on the body of a writer.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a structured optical film which makes minute defects hardly visible while preventing the reduction in front brightness, and to provide a backlight using the same. SOLUTION: A structured optical film 1 has a structured surface 2, and the structured surface 2 comprises a plurality of projecting arrays 3 arranged in parallel approximately, and adjacent projecting arrays 3 are separated from each other by valleys 4, and each projecting array 3 has a peak 5 and the height of the peak 5 is varied along its edge line, and a pitch 6 between adjacent peaks 5 is varied, and a pitch 7 between adjacent valleys 4 is different from the pitches 7 in the vicinity. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a lithographic printing plate, capable of manufacturing the printing plate which has good transferability of an ink layer, and shows excellent adhesiveness of the ink layer and excellent plate wear resistance even when an ink ribbon having a thin ink layer is used. SOLUTION: In the method for manufacturing the lithographic printing plate by transferring the ink layer of a thermofusible transfer recording medium to the image acceptance layer of the lithographic printing plate in a predetermined pattern, the ink layer as the thermofusible transfer recording medium is not more than 4 μm in thickness, and the image acceptance layer as the lithographic printing plate has an arithmetical average surface roughness Ra of not less than 0.15 μm and a ten point average roughness Rz of 1.00 to 3.00 μm according to the surface roughness regulation (JIS-B0601-1994). PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a protective liquid for emulsion mask capable of forming a protective film in a short time and achieving superior adhesion and surface hardness of an emulsion mask on which the protective film is formed, and to provide the emulsion mask using the same. SOLUTION: The ionizing radiation curing protective liquid for emulsion mask includes: an (meth)acrylate oligomer and/or (meth)acrylic monomer; and a reactive hydrophilic substance copolymerizable with the oligomer and/or the monomer. The reactive hydrophilic substance is (meth)acrylic modified hydrophilic substance, particularly an (meth)acrylic modified phosphate ester and/or (meth)acrylic modified quaternary ammonium salt. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical member for back light which does not generate deflection to be a cause of a poor video image. SOLUTION: The optical member 3 for back light is constituted so as to have a functional layer 2 on a supporting object 1 constituted by sticking at least two biaxial stretching polyethylene terephthalate films 11 with thickness of 6 to 75μm via an adhesive layer 12. Preferably, it is constituted so that the thickness by totaling at least two biaxial stretching polyethylene terephthalate films 11 with the thickness of 6 to 75μm becomes 25 to 100μm.
