Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To secure a smooth flow of drain water in a horizontal drain pipe.SOLUTION: There is provided a connection structure of a drain pipe of a flushing type toilet 1 to which a syphon jet type is applied and which utilizes a flush valve for using the water pressure of a feed water pipe 2 connected to the flushing type toilet 1 as it is. The connection structure includes a horizontal drain pipe 5 as one drain pipe for discharging drain water to a public sewerage system which flows drain water to a downstream drain pipe, and a drain water connection joint adapter 41 as the other drain pipe which connects the horizontal drain pipe 5 and the flushing type toilet 1, and is connected at a predetermined angle θ to an axial center line c5 of the horizontal drain pipe 5. The drain water connection joint adapter 41 changes in cross section gradually from a circle to a longitudinally long ellipse from an upstream side to a downstream side.
