The first MCU has a first memory for storing a conference setting for the first communication endpoint relating to a first conference, and a first processor communicated with the first memory executing a conference relating to the first communication endpoint according to the conference setting. The second MCU has a second memory for storing the conference setting for the first communication endpoint received from the first MCU, a second processor communicated with the second memory normalizing the conference setting and executing a second conference relating to the first communication endpoint according to the conference setting received from the first MCU.
Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a consumer with a product, in particular, software for a predetermined time.SOLUTION: A method for providing a consumer with a product for a predetermined time includes the steps of: (A) a retail server node receiving the detection of presence of the consumer in a shop; (B) the retail server node specifying the consumer; (C) the retail server node determining whether or not the consumer made any inquiry about the product in the past; (D) the retail server node extracting inquiry information for the inquiry in the past; and (E) the retail server node installing the product in a portable device of the consumer on the basis of the extracted inquiry information.
Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and a system where a user can use a work product afterwards.SOLUTION: The method of this invention has (A) a step to trace the interaction between a user and an automated assistant in a communication session where the automated assistant is displayed in a graphical user interface managing the communication session, and the graphical user interface displays the automated assistant in the same manner as a participant, (B) a step to identify a work product created by the interaction, (C) a step to associate the work product with the user, and (D)a step to store the work product in a persistent communication session.
Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a virtual meeting attending system that improves a function of a meeting. SOLUTION: The method includes (A) a step of specifying a virtual meeting attending device that operates for meeting participants, (B) a step of recognizing one of topics of the discussion of a trigger event and agenda to which a tag is attached, and (C) a step of executing at least one of the following substeps: (C1) a substep of recording part of the meeting, (C2) a substep of taking notes, (C3) a substep of responding to an operation item, (C4) a substep of executing contribution recorded in advance, and (C5) a substep of patching the meeting participants to the meeting on demand. The substep has a substep in which the meeting participants contribute to the meeting in real time based on the (B) step. COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT
Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for improving the possibility of connection, in a communication environment. SOLUTION: The method includes the steps of (A) collecting information from an information source by an information collection module, the information source including one of a blog, a discussion forum, a social networking site, a microblog, and a website; (B) executing any one of conversation analysis, pattern analysis, content analysis, utilization pattern analysis, input type analysis, time-associated analysis, past analysis or statistical analysis of the collected information; and (C) estimating an appropriate contact modality. Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a network architecture separating a data plane from a control plane. SOLUTION: In a first network device (ND) having only a first data plane portion, a method includes the following steps. An incoming data packet is received at a port of the first ND. It includes (A) the step of determining a first current network interface (CNI) used by the first ND port based on data in the data packet, (B) the step of uploading the first CNI on a remote wireless controller, and (C) the step of receiving update information to the first CNI after uploading the first CNI. The remote wireless controller executes a first control plane function for the first ND. The update information is provided by the remote wireless controller. COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT

Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method that enables a user to administer a dialing plan. SOLUTION: A PBX (Private Branch eXchange) or any other type of telephone exchange analyzes a dialing plan that it uses and then makes a recommendation for the dialing plan. In order to analyze the dialing plan, the PBX considers the usage characteristics of number-consuming objects which include the telephone numbers associated with the dialing plan. The PBX then identifies, for possible deletion, a list of inactive or underutilized objects such as unused telephone numbers. In some embodiments, the PBX also predicts the future availability of telephone numbers based on the usage characteristics that are part of analysis results. In at least some of those embodiments, the PBX is able to construct a dialing plan tree and identify a revised dialing plan. COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT
Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mechanism for enabling smooth, seamless, and reliable connectivity to wireless devices in a unified network.SOLUTION: A system supports roaming of mobile units across mobility switches. A given mobile unit can retain its IP address in both intra-subnet and inter-subnet roaming scenarios. The given mobile unit also retains its membership to a mobility VLAN to which it had been assigned, even during roaming. Embodiments include a framework for wireless switches to advertise VLANs they support to peer wireless switches in the mobility domain, and to advertise their capability to act as VLAN servers for those VLANs. Embodiments support VLAN membership management capabilities that allow access points and peer wireless switches to request wireless switches to add VLANs to the tunnels they share.
Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance defects of a voice messaging system of the prior arts. SOLUTION: Voice analysis of a subscriber's greeting is used to assist with determining a true identity of a caller. When a greeting is recorded by the subscriber (e.g., the subscriber speaks their voice as part of their default greeting, or a custom greeting for a voice mail system), the system analyzes the greeting and create a voice signature or voiceprint of the greeting. This voiceprint information is saved in the system and associated with the subscriber. When a subscriber changes their greeting that was previously analyzed to create a voiceprint, the messaging system optionally analyzes the newly recorded greeting to create a new voiceprint for the subscriber, with the system saving the new voiceprint in the system for future recognition tasks. This voiceprint is then used to identify the true identity of a caller that leaves a voice message. COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT
