A novel β-lactam compound is a 7-substituted-2-oxa-7-azabicyclo[3.2.0]heptan-6-one represented by the general formula
in which R is an alkyl, cycloalkyl, aryl, halogen-substituted aryl or alkaryl group, having usefulness as an intermediate for the synthesis of various biologically active compounds. The compound can be prepared by the reaction of an isocyanate compound RNCO, R being the same as above, and 2,3-dihydrofuran, preferably under pressurization up to 2000 atmospheres or higher.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a method and an apparatus of extracting the feature of voice and a method and apparatus of recognizing the voice by using the feature, in which a time-space pattern of scalar field obtained from the voice signal and regulated by the time axis and the space axis is converted into a vector field pattern by the space differentiation, whose orientation parameter is quantized to obtain a two dimensional pattern as the feature of voice by utilizing the quantization value. Thereby, a high recognition rate can be obtained when recognizing a large vocabulary and in case of a recognition by a non-specified speaker.

Procédé d'obtention d'un mélange de lipides riche en acide gamma-linolénique ou ses glycérides à partir de cultures de corps d'un champignon Mortierella filamenteux. L'invention propose, d'une part, d'extraire par fractions le mélange de lipides des corps de champignon sous désintégration mécanique en deux phases, tout d'abord avec un alcool contenant de l'eau pour donner une fraction riche en lipides polaires, et ensuite avec un solvant d'hydrocarbure, de l'hexane par ex., pour donner une fraction pauvre en lipides polaires. L'invention propose d'autre part, d'enrichir un mélange de lipides en ce qui concerne l'acide gamma-linolénique par cristallisation fractionnelle d'une partie d'un mélange durci de lipides dans une solution d'un solvant spécifique de sorte que la fraction non cristallisée dans la liqueur-mère contient un mélange de lipides dont la teneur en acide gamma-linolénique est remarquablement accrue par comparaison avec le mélange initial de lipides.

(i) 0 to 90 parts by weight of a polymer (I) which is a homopolymer of butadiene or a copolymer of butadiene witha monomer copolymerizable therewith, and has at least 50% by weight of butadiene units, and in which the content of butadiene units having a cis bond in the total butadiene units is at least 50%, the number average molecular weight (Mn) is in the range of 1, 000 to 10,000,000, and a relationship represented by the formula: log(Mw/Mn) is satisfied between the weight average molecular weight (Mw) and the ratio (Mw/Mn); and (ii) 100 to 10 parts by weight of a polymer (II) composed of at least two molecules of the above-mentioned polymer (I), bonded through a coupling agent.

Organic materials such as coal, petroleum, plastics, biomass, etc. is decomposed by use of supercritical water to selectively product hydrogen. A thermochemical reaction is promoted to reduce supercritical water and selectively produce hydrogen without substantially adding any oxidizing agent in the supercritical water of specific temperature and pressure in the presence of a carbon dioxide absorbing substance in an amount sufficient to absorb all of generated carbon dioxide.
