    Abstract: An attachment for a hair dryer has a cylindrical body having an inlet end, an opposed closed end, a body axis extending centrally through the cylindrical body between the inlet end and the opposed close end and an axially extending cylindrical sidewall. An air flow path extends from an inlet port provided at the inlet end to a plurality of air outlets provided at the axially extending cylindrical sidewall. The air outlets are angularly spaced around the attachment. A diverting member is rotatably mounted with respect to the cylindrical body about a diverting member axis that is coaxial with the body axis. In operation, rotation of the diverting member alters a direction of air exiting the air outlets.

    Abstract: A hair dryer is operational in a first mode and a second mode. In the first mode a first air flow path extends from an inlet 34 and exits in an axially outward direction from a first outlet (36, fig.9) provided centrally in a first face 16 of the device. In the second mode a second air flow path 52 extends from the air inlet 34 to a second air outlet 56. The second air flow path includes an annular portion and the second air outlet comprises a slot. Air preferably exits the slot 56 at an angle to the axial direction. The first air outlet (36, fig. 9) is preferably a circular port on the first face 16 of the hairdryer. The air may exit through the first air outlet (36, fig.9) at a first velocity in the first mode and through the slot 56 at a second velocity in the second mode. The second air flow path preferably comprises a non-annular portion upstream of the annular portion. Preferably, the second air outlet 56 is formed as an integral part of the main body of the hairdryer.

    Abstract: An extruder includes an extruder barrel module, an extruder feeder module, a screw motor module, and an electronics module. The extruder barrel module includes an axially extending barrel in which an extruder barrel screw is removably receivable.
