    Abstract: PURPOSE: To obtain a sensor that can be connected to a high-voltage fuel conduit easily and can measure a temporary or transient liquid pressure efficiently by placing a transducer piezoelectric element at a pair of bores that oppose the wall part of a passage in the direction of axial line for guiding a liquid pressure pulse. CONSTITUTION: A body 20 with a path extended in the direction of an axial line for guiding a liquid pressure pulse has wall parts 40 and 42 that are deformed by liquid pressure pulses that pass the path and a pair of bores 30 and 32 that oppose a diameter direction are formed at end faces 34 and 36 of the wall parts 40 and 42. Transducer piezoelectric elements 70 and 72 are placed at a constant position of the bores 30 and 32 while both the end faces 74 and 76 are in contact with the end faces 34 and 36. A conductive ring 80 is provided in peripheral direction around the body 20 while being separated by the elements 70 and 72 and the elements 70 and 72 and a conductive ring 90 are connected by conductors 80 and 82, respectively. Liquid pressure pulses passing through the path deform the wall parts 40 and 42 and a piezoelectric signal generated by mechanical stress generated by the elements 70 and 72 is transferred to the conductive ring 90 for detection.
