Abstract: PURPOSE: To obtain a uniform radial flow distribution quickly by carrying fluid into a fluid substance, separating the fluid therefrom and discharging it the fluid substance through a plurality of distribution points located in the radial direction thereby introducing the flow of the fluid into the fluid substance. CONSTITUTION: Fluid carrying arms 3-6 are radiated radially from the joint 2 of a duct for introducing fluid into a container 1. The arms 3 are opened at a remote end part 3a and the fluid flows through the opening. The arm 4 has an open outlet 4a in the side wall part at the remote end part and the arm 5 has an outlet opening 5a in the bottom. The arm 6 has increased cross-sectional area at the remote end part and the fluid flows out through the open end part 6a. When the fluid is introduced into the container 1 through a wrapped duct, it is branched at the joint 2 and discharged from the arms 3-6. The fluid touches fluid substance and distributed through action thereof.

CONSTITUTION: The substd. nitromethylene compd. of formula [(n) is 0, 1; Y is N, CH; X is N, CR (R is H, nitro, etc.); A is H, 5- to 6-membered heretocycles contg. O, aryl, alkenyl, etc.; R, if any, is H, alkyl; R is an alkylene chain] is used for exterminating the mollusks. The compd. of the formula is more particularly adequately the compd. with which n=1, Y is N, X is N, CHA is Cl or isoxazole substd. with methyl, R is H and R is -CH2 CH2 NH-. The mollusks are exterminated by applying the compsn. consisting of the compd. of the formula or the compd. of the formula and a carrier on the inhabitant of the pests, such as slugs and snails. The compsn. which consists of the compd. of the formula as an active component and consist of the feed of the mollusks and, if necessary, an additional carrier may be used as well.

Abstract: PURPOSE: To provide a catalyst used in hydroconversion, particularly a catalyst contg. palladium as a catalytically active component. CONSTITUTION: A catalyst used in hydroconversion comprises palladium supported on a silica-alumina carrier, which carrier has been prepared from an amorphous silica-alumina starting material having a pore volume of at least 1.0 ml/g. A process for preparing the catalyst comprises preparing the carrier from the amorphous silica-alumina starting material having a pore volume of at least 1.0 ml/g and bringing the carrier so-formed into contact with a palladium compd. in the presence of a liquid, preferably under an acidic condition, to impregnate the carrier with palladium. The catalyst is generally used in hydroconversion, particularly for preparation of intermediate fractions by hydroconversion of hydrocarbons formed by the Fischer-Tropsch method, and hydroisomerization of alkanes.

Abstract: PURPOSE: To obtain a composite sheet of quality enabling an able use by mixing a fiber reinforcing material with sintered polymer waste. CONSTITUTION: A membrane 3 of at least 25 wt.% of a thermoplastic polymer is supplied to a belt conveyor and a layer of a fiber reinforcing material 4 is supplied to the surface of the membrane 3. Subsequently, the fine particular polymer waste stored in a hopper 5 is placed on the layer of the reinforcing material 4 from the hopper 5 and the second layer of the fiber reinforcing material is supplied to the upper surface of the polymer waste. Finally, a second membrane 7 of a thermoplastic polymer is supplied to the upper surface of the second layer 6 of the reinforcing material and the obtained laminar product is passed through the nip between compression rollers 9 and a cooling zone 10 through a heating space 8 by a belt conveyor 1. Subsequently, the obtained laminated composite sheet 11 is detached from the conveyor 1 and stored on a reel or cut into individual sheets according to established procedure.
