다이버시티 이득을 얻는 다중 계층 변조 방법 및 그 장치가 개시된다. 본 발명은 복수의 비트들로 구성되는 심볼을 생성하는 단계, 상기 생성된 심볼의 구성 비트들 중 소정의 비트들에 따라 상기 심볼의 위상을 설정하는 단계 및 상기 소정의 비트들을 제외한 비트들에 따라 다음 생성 심볼의 에너지 준위를 설정하는 단계를 포함한다. 본 발명에 의하면, 심볼간에 상관관계를 갖도록 하는 심볼을 변조시킴으로써, 대역확장이나 추가적인 안테나를 필요로 하지 않으며, 시스템의 복잡도, 단말의 크기 및 소비전력을 줄이면서 다이버시티 이득을 얻을 수 있는 효과가 있다. 또한, 본 발명은 기존의 시스템을 크게 변화시키지 않아도 호환성을 가지고 적용 가능하므로, SISO(Single-Input Single-Output) 환경에서도 동작하여 다이버시티 이득을 얻을 수 있으며, MIMO 시스템 또는 OFDM 시스템에 적용하여 보다 큰 성능을 얻을 수 있는 효과가 있다.
Abstract:
A multi-layered modulation method for obtaining a diversity gain and a device therefor are provided to modulate symbols having correlation between symbols, thus band expansion or an additional antenna is not required while the diversity gain is obtained as system complexity, terminal size, and power consumption are reduced. Symbols consisting of plural bits are generated(300). Phases of the symbols are set according to the configured bits of the generated symbols(310). An energy level of a next generation symbol is set according to the configured bits of the current symbols(320). The step '310' of setting the phases comprises the steps as follows. A quadrant for transmitting the symbols is set according to predetermined bits among the configured bits of the generated symbols. The phases of the symbols are changed according to the rest of the bits except the predetermined bits on the set quadrant.

The present invention is to provide an interference alignment and cancellation apparatus and a method therefor for using in a wireless communication system in a multi-user communication environment. According to one embodiment of the present invention, an interference alignment and cancellation apparatus has a plurality of antenna and includes receivers for receiving a signal transmitted from a plurality of transmitters through the antenna. The respective receivers detects signals from many users according to a designed order and interference-aligns the remaining signals in the process of detection. Also, the respective receivers make detection and interference alignment operation of a user signal after the other receivers cancel the transmitted user signal by transmitting information for the detected user signal to the other receivers. In the present invention, various types of transceiver structure which is capable of achieving the maximum capacity and reducing the complexity under the interference between multi-user and single-user transceiving pairs. Abstract:
The present invention relates to transmission techniques for minimizing data transmission delay time via a wired backbone network using a shared relay station (SRS) and comprises (a) a procedure for enabling two or more base stations (BS) to share one relay station (RS) and (b) a data transmission procedure using the two or more BS, terminals connected to each BS, and the RS when data and control information are transmitted using the RS. According to the present invention, the data transmission delay time compared to an existed cellular network is minimized by transmitting data, which is transmitted from the existed cellular network to a core network controller via the wired backbone network, to a wireless link, the BS, or the terminals via the SRS.

PURPOSE: A method for transmitting data via a shared relay station (SRS) in a mobile communication system is provided to enable data to be transmitted though wireless links by using the SBS not needing to be transmitted through a backbone network between two base stations, when terminals located in an adjacent cell transmit the data in a cellular communication network where the two base stations share one relay station. CONSTITUTION: A method for transmitting data via an SRS in a mobile communication system comprises the steps of: scanning for downlink channels from the SRS to a plurality of base stations (BS) (701); establishing downlink synchronization between the SRS and the plurality of base stations using the downlink channels (702); and registering the plurality of base stations in the SRS based on the established downlink synchronization (707). The step of scanning for downlink channels further comprises obtaining at least one of transmission power of the plurality of base stations or the profile of a data burst using control information that the plurality of base stations transmit through the downlink channels.
