Abstract: PURPOSE: Method to fix titanium oxide to teflon film is provided which uses photocatalytic reaction generated in irradiating ultraviolet ray so that it easily eliminates contamination in air. CONSTITUTION: The method to fix titanium oxide to teflon film comprises the steps of: (i) adding mixed solution wherein 35% conc. of aqueous hydrochloric solution is mixed with 1 liter of ethanol to mixture wherein alcohol like ethanol or propanol and 0.4-0.8 mol of titanium tetraisoproperoxide or titanium tetrabutoxide are mixed, stirring for 8 hours at normal temperature and producing the final mixed solution; (ii) dipping the mixed solution in teflon film, pulling it out and washing repeatedly; (iii) putting teflon film on porous support stand of copper plate and applying vacuum state with keeping 10-3mmHg in vacuum degree for 12 hours; and (iv) drying for 24 hours at 100deg.C and burning for 72 hours at 200deg.C with pure oxygen flown.
