Abstract: PURPOSE: A refrigerator and method of managing stored stuff is provided to achieve an improved user convenience by allowing the user to easily recognize the information related to the stored food stuff. CONSTITUTION: A refrigerator comprises a display unit(41) installed at the front surface of the refrigerator door, a selection unit(42) for operation of the display unit, a bar-code reader(5) for inputting information of the food stuff stored in a refrigerating compartment of the refrigerator, a memory unit(8) for storing information interpreted from bar-code, a telephone connection unit(6) with a modem, and a control unit(7) for storing the food stuff information input from the bar-code reader into the memory unit, displaying the information stored in the memory onto the display unit in accordance with the selection of the selection unit, and providing the information required for managing the stored stuff to an external computer through the telephone connection unit when the information stored in the memory unit satisfies a predetermined condition.

Abstract: 개시된 냉장고 제어방법은 한번 냉장고 도어가 열려 회전날개가 동작된 후에 5분이하의 시간내에 재차 냉장고 도어가 열리더라도 이 회전날개의 동작을 억제하며 불필요한 전력소모를 방지하도록 한 냉장고의 회전날개 제어방법에 관한 것이다.
본 발명은, 시작키가 입력될 경우 압축기 및 팬을 온시켜 냉장고를 구동시키되, 도어가 열렸을 경우에만 소정시간 동안 스윙모터를 온시켜 회전날개를 동작시키도록 하는 냉장고의 제어방법에 있어서, 상기 도어가 5분이하의 시간동안 재차 열리더라도 상기 회전날개가 작동되지 않도록 상기 스윙모터를 5분이하의 시간동안 오프시키도록 제어한다.
