Disclosed is a three-dimensional image display device providing a user interface by using a visual indicator. According to an embodiment of the present invention, the three-dimensional image display device includes a recognition unit recognizing an input object within a predetermined three-dimensional recognition space; a determination unit determining a location of the visual indicator based on the recognized input object; and a display unit displaying the corresponding visual indicator in a predetermined three-dimensional image display space based on the determined location of the visual indicator.

A three-dimensional display device and a user interfacing method thereof are disclosed. The three-dimensional display device according to the embodiment comprises: a display unit to display a three-dimensional virtual object; a user input signal generation unit to generate a user input signal by detecting a handling object to handle an operation of the three-dimensional virtual object in a three-dimensional space matched with the three-dimensional virtual object; and a control unit to control the operation of the three-dimensional virtual object according to the user input signal.

PURPOSE: A multi-touch recognition apparatus and method thereof are provided to recognize the touch of a position that is not recognized by shadowing effect after recognizing the touch location of two sensors. CONSTITUTION: An image sensor measures angle and distance between a touch generated position and an image sensor. A touch point recognizer(130) estimates a touch point based on the angle and the distance and recognizes a touch point as a touch position. The image sensor includes a first image sensor(110) that is installed in one edge of an LCD(Liquid Crystal Display) panel and a second image sensor(120) that is installed in one edge of a diagonal direction.

PURPOSE: A method and apparatus for processing virtual world is provided to implement the interaction between real world and virtual world by transmitting data which is sensed in the real world by a sensor to the virtual world through sensor property. CONSTITUTION: A method and apparatus for processing a virtual world is comprised of the steps: storing sensor characteristics(S1110); and determining a first value which is received from a sensor and transmitting a second value corresponding to the first value(S1120). The sensor has a maximum value and minimum value which is variable. If the first value is less than or equal to the maximum value and is larger than or equal to the minimum value, the second value corresponding to the first value is transmitted to the virtual world. The sensor characteristics include a first value which is measured by the sensor.

PURPOSE: A display device and a computer-readable recording medium are provided to set a feature point for sensing the face of a user in a real world and use data collected for the feature point to generate the face of an avatar in a virtual world. CONSTITUTION: Animation control information comprises an animation clip(1110), and a corresponding part(1120) and a priority(1130) of the animation clip. A storage unit stores the animation control information and control information. A processing unit compares the priority of the animation control information with the priority of the control information. The processing unit determines data to be applied as the first part of an avatar.

PURPOSE: A method and an apparatus for processing virtual world are provided to reflect an real object to the virtual world. CONSTITUTION: A storage stores the virtual object information about an object of a first and second physical world(2310, 2320). A processing unit renews the virtual object information based on the input received from the input unit of the real world. The processing unit creates the object corresponding to the other object as described above based on the virtual object information of the other object of the other physical world embodying in the other virtual processor in the physical world.

PURPOSE: A multi touch sensing device using a rear camera of array method is provided to arrange a camera for sensing a touch image at bottom edge, thereby inclining the camera in a constant angle. CONSTITUTION: A display panel(103) is arranged to top of a multi touch sensing device. The display panel displays an image. A sensing light source radiates light for sensing a touch image, which is displayed on area surface of the display panel, by an object which is located on top of the display panel. Cameras(101,102) partitions the area of the touch image. The cameras sense the touch image.

PURPOSE: An avatar motion control through a multiple input source in an MPEG-V using a motion controller is provided to control the avatar motion in the virtual world by calculating motion information by point dependency by controlling the motion level according to the motion sensing preference. CONSTITUTION: Various kinds of motion sensors or camera receives the operation of a user. A location of a joint part is presumed by user motion information. A three-dimensional position of each body part of a user and a direction are extracted. The extracted data is used as the input of the user for the motion control. Each joint data of the operation of avatar is distributed through the avatar motion importer/exporter in each module.
