1. 청구범위에 기재된 발명이 속한 기술분야 본 발명은 세션키를 이용한 유료방송 서비스 제공 방법에 관한 것임. 2. 발명이 해결하려고 하는 기술적 과제 본 발명은, 안전하게 유료 서비스를 인증된 사용자에게 전달하는 것이 가능하고 채널별 유료방송 서비스를 하고 있는 채널에 포함된 프로그램 각각에 대해서도 이벤트별 서비스 제공이 가능한, 세션키를 이용한 유료방송 서비스 제공 방법을 제공하고자 함. 3. 발명의 해결방법의 요지 본 발명은, 세션키를 이용한 유료방송 서비스 제공 방법에 있어서, 가입자 시스템에 표시된 프로그램 가이드를 통해 시청을 원하는 유료 이벤트를 선택하고, 식별자를 통한 사용자 인증을 통해 제한수신모듈(CAM) 내에 암호화되어 저장되어 있는 가입자 개인키를 획득하는 가입자 개인키 획득 단계; 서비스 정보(SI)와 연동하여 서비스 신청서를 작성한 후 전자서명 및 암호화를 수행하는 전자서명 및 암호화 단계; 방송국 시스템으로 암호화된 신청서를 전달하고 상기 방송국 시스템으로부터의 응답을 대기하는 신청서 전달 단계; 상기 방송국 시스템으로부터 세션키와 시청권한 메시지를 전달받아 상기 세션키와 시청권한 메시지를 복호화하여 전자서명을 검증하는 복호화 및 전자서명 검증 단계; 상기 전자서명의 검증 성공에 따라 상기 시청권한 메시지에 포함된 이벤트가 시작되어 세션키로 암호화된 채널 키를 복호화한 후, 상기 채널 키로 제어단어를 얻고, 상기 제어단어로 스크램블링된 해당 이벤트 오디오/비디오 스트림을 디스크램블링하여 시청하는 시청 단계; 및 서비스 정보(SI)와 연동해 이벤트가 종료했거나 또는 시청권한 메시지 내 유효성(validity) 필드 값을 통해 현재 사용중인 세션키가 더 이상 유효하지 않다고 판단됨에 따라 세션키를 통한 시청을 중단하고 상기 제한수신모듈(CAM)의 메모리 내에서 세션키를 삭제하는 세션키 삭제 단계를 포함함. 4. 발명의 중요한 용도 본 발명은 방송 시스템 등에 이용됨.

PURPOSE: A key update method in a CAS(Conditional Access System) of a digital cable TV is provided to transmit an EMM(Entitlement Management Message) to a subscriber receiving device of a subscriber having authority capable of watching a conditional access program through an OOB(Out-Of-Band) channel and update an encryption key. CONSTITUTION: An H/E(Head/End) transmits an EMM including a key updated according to the direction of a subscriber receiving device of a subscriber to a POD(Point Of Deployment) module of the subscriber by key information updated according to an update period for updating the key(114,117,120,121). If it is necessary for aperiodically updating a key, the H/E transmits an EMM including information updated according to the direction of the subscriber receiving device to the POD module by updated key information and receives an aperiodic key update result of the POD module(115,118,122,123). The H/E transmits an EMM including a key to be deleted according to the direction of a subscriber receiving device of a bad subscriber to a POD module of the bad subscriber for updating the key(116,119,124,125).

PURPOSE: A system and a method for transmitting and receiving digital cable broadcasting information are provided to process service information among messages, which are transmitted to a receiver through out-of-band from a head end, more rapidly than other messages. CONSTITUTION: A system for transmitting and receiving digital cable broadcasting information includes a head end module(10) and a reception module. The head end module gives packet identifier numbers limited within a predetermined packet identifier number range to tables on which data is loaded using MPEG transmission technique, and constructs transmission packets to transmit the packets. The reception module receives the transmission packets from the head end module and checks the packet identifier numbers to judge whether or not service information is included in the packets, and decides packet processing according to the judged result.
Abstract:
A mobile smart device, and an apparatus and a method to provide a smart broadcasting service using the same are provided. The smart broadcasting providing apparatus comprises: a smart synchronization unit to exchange metadata while interlocking with a mobile smart device through a first communications network; and a smart overlay unit to generate a broadcasting type convergence screen to provide a smart broadcasting service using the metadata and content transmitted based on the metadata, and transmitting the broadcasting type convergence screen to a digital broadcasting terminal through a second communications network. The mobile smart device comprises: an interlocking control unit to exchange the metadata while interlocking with the smart broadcasting providing device through the first communications network and controlling the broadcasting type convergence screen transmitted from the smart broadcasting providing apparatus to a broadcasting playback terminal through the second communications network to provide the smart broadcasting service; and a display unit to display content control information to control the broadcasting type convergence screen.

PURPOSE: A broadcasting program inserting method by detecting an available channel in a hybrid fiber coax network or an optical cable network and an apparatus thereof are provided to adaptively utilize an available channel, thereby inserting or combining a first broadcasting program such as a cable TV program into or with a second broadcasting program. CONSTITUTION: A channel power detector (310) detects an unused Radio Frequency (RF) broadcasting channel out of RF broadcasting channels which are used by an optical to electric converter which converts a first broadcasting program, which is an optical signal, into a first RF signal. CONSTITUTION: A communication device for the deaf comprises a storage part (10), an information collection part (20), a change control part (30), and an information output part (40). The storage part stores an output voice, an output character, a finger language image, and vibration information corresponding to voice information, a character, and finger language information. The information collection part receives conversation information including voices, images, and letters. The change control part extracts finger language information and voice information and reads and changes information corresponding to an output media. The information output part outputs the result outputted from the information output part.
