Abstract: PURPOSE: A packet transmission method divided in a mobile communication system and a system thereof are provided to reduce overhead by overlapping transmission of an IP header with overlapped division information about an upper link. CONSTITUTION: It is checked whether a divided packet is an end packet or not(S402,S403). In case the divided packet is not the end packet, the divided packet is successively saved in a buffer(S404). In case the divided packet is the end packet, the divided packet is reassembled(S405). The reassembled IP packet is transmitted to a base station. Abstract: A method for constituting a frame in a multi-hop relay system and the multi-hop relay system are provided to receive data from an upper layer and a lower layer when the RS of a specific layer receives the data and transmit data to the upper layer and the lower layer when the RS transmits the data, thereby performing the reception and transmission of the data exclusively and being applied to the MMR(Mobile Multi-hop Relay) system simply. In RB section(BS_RX(Receiver)) in which the BS receives data from the first RS, the first RS is set as a transmitting section(RS1_TX) for transmitting data. In the transmitting section in which the first RS transmits data to the BS, the second RS is set as a receiving section(RS2_RX) to transmit the data of the first RS to the second RS. The frame of an MMR(Mobile Multi-hop Relay) system is constituted using a method transmitting data from the first RS to the BS of an upper layer and the second RS of a lower layer at the same time.
