Abstract:
The present invention relates to an apparatus and a method for estimating a moving path using light communication in real time. A server contained in the apparatus for estimating the moving path in real time of the present invention is configured to comprise an agent management unit to set agents and clients; a server communication unit to receive the management information of the agents according to a preset monitoring period; and a path prediction unit to predict a predicted path of the moving path of the clients based on the positional information of the clients tracked through a position determination apparatus having a light communication device and an image capturing device from the agents, which is included in the management information.
Abstract:
Disclosed are a method for estimating a dimming level, a method for processing a visible light signal, and an apparatus using the same. The method for processing the visible light signal according to an aspect of the present invention comprises the steps of: receiving the visible light signal including at least one pulse; estimating a pulse width of the visible light signal; estimating the dimming level of the visible light signal using the estimated pulse width; and demodulating the visible light signal using the estimated dimming level.
Abstract:
Disclosed are a DMX-VLC address processing method using a DMX-512 network and an apparatus using the DMX-512 network. According to the present invention, the DMX-VLC address processing method comprises: a step of receiving a DMX-512 packet; a step of determining whether the DMX-512 packet is included in a light step data using a start code of the DMX-512 packet; a step of processing the light data using an address recorded in the DMX-512 address unit of the DMX-VLC address included in the DMX-512 packet when the DMX-512 packet is included in the light step data; and a step of executing a non-light data process using the address recorded in the DMX-VLC extension address unit of the DMX-VLC address when the DMX-512 packet is not included in the light step data.
Abstract:
Disclosed are a method for transceiving packets for traffic distribution, and an access point and a terminal apparatus using the same. The access point according to the present invention includes a wireless LAN communications module; a visible light communications module; and a traffic distribution unit to confirm a characteristic of a packet to be transmitted for determining whether the packet is a control packet or a data packet, to classify and transmit the packet using the wireless LAN communications module when the packet is the control packet or a data packet of low capacity, to classify and transmit the packet using the visible light communications module when the packet is a multi-media or a data packet of high capacity.
Abstract:
Disclosed is a device for managing a service in a restaurant, capable of: minimizing an unnecessary movement of an employee; monitoring the service response time, etc. of the employee by managing the employee who responds to a service and information on the time when the service is requested; and allowing customers to directly know a current status of the requested service through colors of lighting. The device for managing a service in a restaurant comprises an employee ID sender for outputting the embedded employee ID information through a wireless visible light communication; a call bell which has a button for calling employees or requesting a service, transmits, to a management server, the employee ID information from the employee ID sender and information on the requested service and receives waiting time information on the requested service; the management server for managing the service response time from the time of checking the service requested by a customer to the time of providing the requested service and information on the number of providing services by the employees and outputting status information on the service requested by the customer; a lighting scheduler for storing situation based lighting color information, deriving lighting status information based on the status information on the requested service provided by the management server and outputting the lighting color information corresponding to the derived lighting status information among the situation based lighting color information; and a table lighting unit for transmitting the waiting time information on the requested service to the call bell through the wireless visible light communication and adjusting the lighting colors of a table of the customer who requests the service based on the lighting color information from the lighting scheduler.
