A method for allocating a radio resource in a wireless communication system including a macrocell and at least one femtocell includes the steps of: identifying a white space which is an empty radio resource, and a macrocell band which is allocated as the radio resource of the macrocell; allocating the radio resource for searching a cell, that is near at least one femtocell, from the macrocell band in a normal resource allocating mode; and allocating the radio resource for each data communication, of at least one femtocell, from the white space in the normal resource allocating mode.

PURPOSE: A transmitting method of a multicast broadcast service is provided to effectively and continuously manage an MBS in a mobile wireless connection system supporting the MBS. CONSTITUTION: MBS setting information including information about MBS MAP and information about MBS area, which MBS related information is allocated, is transmitted to a terminal(S100~S110). MBS data is transmitted to the terminal through MBS area. Information about the MBS area includes location information of the MBS area and a transmission parameter. MBS setting information change director directs whether the MBS setting information is converted from a first MBS setting information into a second MBS setting information.

PURPOSE: A method for updating system information in a wireless communication system is provided to enable a mobile terminal which is on service to have effects which can update system information without quality deterioration of a service. CONSTITUTION: Secondary header applying information directs whether secondary header change state information is applied to current system or a previous version of secondary header change state information is applied to a current system or not. The updated secondary header is transmitted by at least one time. A primary header includes a change director which directs the updated secondary header. A wireless communication system includes a terminal(10) and a base station(20).

PURPOSE: A method for performing a handover in a multi-carrier wave wireless access system is provided to perform handover without cut of data transceiving during handover. CONSTITUTION: A terminal receives an AAI_HO-CMD(Advanced Air Interface_Handover-Command) message form a serving BS(Base Station)(S330). Based on the AAI_HO-CMD(Advanced Air Interface_Handover-Command) message, the terminal performs network reentry with a target BS(S340). A data path is set between the terminal and the target base station(S360). The AAI_HO-CMD(Advanced Air Interface_Handover-Command) message includes information for handover to the target BS and information about whether the target BS supports a handover which uses multi carrier.

PURPOSE: An apparatus and a method for managing multi-carriers and a method for operating a sleep mode of a terminal are provided to use a wireless resource efficiently by reducing a message transmission load of a base station and managing the multi-carriers efficiently. CONSTITUTION: A communication unit(214) requests the change of a main carrier from a first terminal which will enter a sleep mode. A control message is transmitted through the main carrier during the sleep mode. The control message includes a traffic indication message, and a sub-carrier selection unit(212) selects the sub-carrier which is commonly used by the first or second terminals which is larger than the other.

PURPOSE: An uplink service providing terminal, a base station and a method thereof for supplying a high speed data service between the base station and the terminal in a wireless communication system are provided to transmit uplink traffic by assigning unicast uplink resource at calculated interval. CONSTITUTION: A TCP data is received from a base station. A PRTT(Partial Round Trip Time) is measured in a measurement unit(131). Information about the measured PRTT is transmitted to the base station. The resource allocation information is received from the base station. The determination unit determines whether a user of a radio resource allocation target supports an AAS(Adaptive Antenna System). A bandwidth allocating method and a repeater in a communication system are provided to receive a bandwidth request code from the repeater and check the reception of the same bandwidth request code as the received bandwidth request code from an MS to enable a BS to allocate bandwidth to the MS, thereby transceiving data to/from a terminal outside the coverage of the BS or a terminal in the coverage of the repeater. A method for allocating bandwidth to an MS(Mobile Station) in the BS(Base Station) of a communication system including a repeater comprises the following steps of: receiving a bandwidth request code from the repeater(S610); checking whether the same bandwidth request code as the received bandwidth request code is received from the MS(S620); and allocating bandwidth to at least one of the repeater and the MS when the same bandwidth request code is received(S640).
